• Not official; though effects have been observed through animal studies

• Hormone levels

• Brain and behavior problems

• Cancer

• Heart problems

• Other conditions

• Increased risk to children

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS???

• Only buy BPA-free products

• Do not microwave foods in plastic containers

• Do not put plastic containers in the dish washer

• Do not scrub plastic containers with harmful detergents
