  • Boston College suffered a large upset the day after Thanksgiving to Holy Cross, 5-4. Following that setback, the Eagles kicked it into high gear and rattled off a 19-game unbeaten streak that spanned from Dec. 6, 2013, to March 1, 2014. That tear matched Jerry Yorks longest unbeaten streak at Boston College. The first 19-game streak BC ran off culminated in the national championship in 2012.

  • On Oct 18, BC honored its legendary coach, Jerry York. The Schiller Family Head Hockey Coach is in his 20th season at The Heights and 42nd, all-time. York is college hockeys all-time winningest coach with 963 victories to date, along with a record 39 NCAA Tournament victories. The brief ceremony will honored York for the four NCAA championships (2001, 2008, 2010, 2012) he has brought back to Chestnut Hill, the 10 Frozen Four berths (now 11) and the five 30-win seasons hes had at Boston College.

  • Boston Colleges Big Three line of Johnny Gaudreau (LW) - Bill Arnold (C) - Kevin Hayes (RW) has been college hockeys most lethal force since joining forces on Dec. 6, 2013. Jerry York paired these three together and ever since, Gaudreau, Arnold and Hayes have combined for 53 goals and 75 assists (128 points) with a +86 plus/minus rating. The Eagles are 20-3-2 when these three skate together. Since Dec. 6, they constitute 45.7 percent of the Eagles offense (128-of-280).

  • Johnny Gaudreau tied Paul Kariya for the longest single-season point streak in Hockey East history, scoring a point in 31-consecutive games this season. Over the course of Gaudreaus streak, he accounted for 59 points (28-31-59) with a +31 plus/minus rating. Kariyas streak spanned from Oct. 23, 1992 to March 2, 1993. Gaudreaus streak started on Nov. 1, 2013, against Northeastern and was curbed on March 16, 2014, vs. Notre Dame.

  • Johnny Gaudreau scored twice and Bill Arnold added a short-handed goal and two assists to lead Boston College to a 4-3 Hockey East victory over Notre Dame at Fenway Park on Jan. 4, 2014, as part of Citi Frozen Fenway. Boston College is the only team in Hockey East to have played in all three Frozen Fenway events. The Eagles are 2-1 in those contests. The temperature at game time was 26 degrees with seven degree wind chill.

  • Senior captain Patrick Brown scored two goals, including the game winner, and freshman goaltender Thatcher Demko made 29 saves to lead Boston College to a 4-1 victory over No. 11 Northeastern and its fifth consecutive Beanpot title, one short of the tournament record. The victory marked the Eagles 19th Beanpot title and eighth under head coach Jerry York. The championship victory gives seniors Bill Arnold, Brown, Kevin Hayes, and Isaac MacLeod a perfect 8-0 record for their collegiate careers.

  • For the third time in the last four seasons and league-record 13th overall, Boston College clinched the Hockey East regular season title by completing the sweep of Vermont with a 5-3 victory on Feb. 16, 2014. The Eagles have won the most Hockey East regular season trophies in Hockey Easts 30 years of existence.

  • Johnny Gaudreau, in his 117th game as an Eagle, finally crossed that elusive hat trick off his list. He went ahead and added a playmaker (three assists) as well, turning in one of the best performances in NCAA Tournament history on Saturday, March 29, against Denver in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Gaudreau is one of two skaters in college hockey this season to score six points (3-3-6) in a game (Quinnipiacs Matthew Peca).

  • Johnny Gaudreau has been named one of three Hobey Baker Award Hat Trick finalists according to the committees announcement on April 2. This marks the second consecutive year Gaudreau has earned this distinction as the junior forward was runner-up for the Hobey Baker Award in 2013. Gaudreaus 77 points is the most of any single player Jerry York has led on The Heights and is currently fourth best all-time for a single season at Boston College.

  • DUTCHMEN ON THE DOCKET

Union can easily be classified as the hottest team in college hockey at this point, gliding into the Frozen Four with an NCAA-best 15-game unbeaten streak (14-0-1) that started on Feb. 1, 2014. The Dutchmen are the only club in college hockey with 30 wins to their name as that mark stands as a school record. Union earned its first No. 1 ranking in the programs 23 years of Division I existence on March 24, 2014. The 2014 Frozen Four counts as Unions second appearance while the Dutchmen have earned a spot in the last four NCAA Tournaments (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014). After capturing its third-consecutive ECAC Tournament title, junior blue liner Shayne Gostisbehere was tabbed co-Player of the Year and co-Best Defensive Defenseman while Colin Stevens picked up ECAC Goaltender of the Year honrs in his first season as starter. Senior forward Daniel Carr leads Union offensively and is currently eighth in the country in points per game with 1.30 ppg (22-26-48). Alongside Gostisbehere, Mat Bodie is contributing offensively from the blue line and is third in the NCAA amongst defensemen in scoring (0.92 ppg 6-29-35). Stevens, in his third season, is ranked fourth in the country in both goals against average (1.93) and save percentage (.932) and leads the nation in winning percentage (.844) with his 26-4-2 mark. The Dutchmen possess a balanced attack with their second-ranked offense (3.70 gpg 0.40 goals per game behind Boston College) and fourth-ranked defense (2.05 gpg). Union has not given up more than two goals in a game in its last 10 outings.

BOSTON COLLEGE vs. UNIONThursdays national semifinal marks only the second meeting all-time between Union and Boston College. The Dutchmen left a bitter taste in BCs mouth last season, cutting the Eagles NCAA Tournament run short in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in Providence, 5-1. Union broke the game open early in the second period and the Eagles could never recover. Johnny Gaudreau scored BCs lone goal at 16:02 of the third period as the Eagles faced a 5-0 deficit.

    GOPHER GAMES

Minnesota skates into the 2014 Frozen Four by outscoring its first two opponents by a combined score, 11-3. The Golden Gophers whacked Robert Morris, 7-3, before shutting out St. Cloud State, 4-0. With its participation, Minnesota ties Michigan for the most NCAA Tournament appearances with 35. The Golden Gophers were ranked the No. 1 team in the country for a good duration of the season and ended up posting a 14-3-3 mark in the inaugural season of Big Ten hockey. Minnesota is tied with Boston University for the second-most Frozen Four appearances with 21 and tied with the Eagles in the national championships department. Minnesota captured the NCAA championship in 1974, 1976, 1979, 2002 and 2003. Head coach Don Lucia makes his 16th NCAA appearances and led Minnesota to two titles (2002, 2003) and seven Frozen Fours. Minnesota was upset in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament by Ohio State on March 21, 2014, by a final score of 3-1. The Gophers leading scorer this season is junior forward Kyle Rau with his 0.95 points per game (14-23-37), good for 58th in the country. Sophomore Mike Reilly is seventh amongst defensemen in national scoring (0.82 ppg 9-23-32). UM touts the second-ranked defense in college hockey, surrendering only 2.00 goals a game, and goaltender Adam Wilcox plays a significant role. Wilcox has assembled the nations second-best save percentage (.934%) and third-lowest goal against average (1.89 gaa). Wilcoxs also sports the third-best winning percentage (.778%).

BOSTON COLLEGE vs. MINNESOTAIf Boston College and Minnesota meet to play for the national championship on April 12, it will indicate the 11th times the Eagles and Golden Gophers have faced off in the NCAA Tournament. Boston College holds the slight advantage in those games, 6-4. Despite the 11 postseason meetings, BC and Minnesota have never skated for the national championship. The Eagles paid a visit to Minneapolis this season and skated to a 3-3 tie before losing, 6-1, in late October.

    NORTH DAKOTA NUGGETS

North Dakota will round out the 2014 Frozen Four lineup of heavy hitters, lugging its 20 Frozen Four appearances to Philadelphia. UNDs 20 Frozen Fours brings this years total to 66, combined, amongst the four teams. UND has 21 all-time wins in the Frozen Four, a number topped only by Michigans 25. However, all 21 of UNDs wins have come since 1958, the most of any school in that time North Dakota has won seven national titles (1959, 1963, 1980, 1982, 1987, 1997, 2000), tied with Denver for second-most in the NCAA behind only by Michigans nine. UNDs postseason success is further echoed by owning the best winning percentage in the history of the NCAA Tournament at .667 (46-23). Along with the best NCAA Tournament mark, UND has made 12-consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament, the longest active streak in the nation and the third-longest in history behind only Michigan (22, 1991-2012) and Minnesota (13, 1985-97). UND made its way into the Frozen Four after s double-overtime win over Ferris State that lasted 81 minutes, 28 seconds, and was the longestNCAA tournament game in UND mens hockey history. Sophomore forward Rocco Grimaldi directs UNDs offense with 0.95 points per game (17-22-39) and is tied for 51st in the country in scoring. First-year goaltender Zane Gothberg has made an early impression with the NCAAs sixth-best goals against average (1.99) and 14th-best save percentage (.926). Gothberg is one of 10 netminders with 20 wins under his belt this season.

BOSTON COLLEGE vs. NORTH DAKOTABoston College and North Dakota are dead even against one another in the overall series, 11-11-1. Of those 23 all-time meetings, nine of those have come in NCAA Tournament play. BC owns a significant margin in postseason play against UND, winning 6-of-9 decisions, including Jerry Yorks first national championship at BC on April 7, 2001, in Albany, N.Y. Krys Kolanos clinched BCs second national title in school history by dialing up the overtime winner at 4:43 from Chuck Kobasew and Tony Voce.

All-Time NCAA Tourney Career Statistics All four Boston College national championship teams under Jerry York have started their tournament run in Worcester, Mass., the site of BCs opening round contest against Denver.

Johnny Gaudreaus six points against Denver in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 29, 2014, is tied for the second-best performance since the tournaments history. Gaudreau became the 12th player all-time to score six points in an NCAA game -- Gaudreau also netted a hat trick, marking the 18th all-time in an NCAA regional game and second for Boston Colelge (Cam Atkinson - 3/28/10 - Worcester, Mass.)

In 2012, Boston College won its third national title in five years and fifth overall. Boston College is the first team since 1961 to win three championships in five seasons; Murray Armstrongs Denver team won three titles in four years (1958, 1960 and 1961) and BC has captured titles in 2008, 2010 and 2012. The all-time best is five titles in six years, accomplished by Michigan (1951, 1952, 1953, 1955 and 1956).

The 2012 national championship marked BCs fifth NCAA Frozen Four and national championship game appearance in the six years. BC fell in the title game in 2006 (to Wisconsin, 2-1) and 2007 (Michigan State, 3-1), but captured the national title in its last three NCAA Championship game appearances in 2008 (4-1 over Notre Dame), 2010 (5-0 over Wisconsin), and 2012 (4-1 over Ferris State).

The 2010 NCAA Championship game between Boston College and Wisconsin at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich., was played before 37,592 fans, establishing a world record (at the time) for indoor hockey.

Goaltender Parker Milners .982 save percentage (110 saves, two goals against) in the 2012 tournament is third best all-time; it marked the best save percentage since 1972 and the best since the tournament expanded beyond four teams.

Goaltender Parker Milners 0.50 goals against average in the 2012 NCAA Tournament ties him for the best all-time with three others (Ken Dryden, Cornell in 1967 | Gerry Powers, Denver in 1968 | Tim Regan, Boston University in 1972).

Boston College has a 4-7 overtime record in tournament play.

Jerry York has led BC to 11 Frozen Fours while Snooks Kelley guided the Eagles to nine. Len Ceglarski led BC to four Frozen Four appearances.

With his five NCAA Championships (four with Boston College, one with Bowling Green), Jerry York tied Denvers Murray Armstrong for second place among Division I head coaches. Only Michigans Vic Heyliger (1948-56; six titles) has more championships than York.

Boston College advanced to four straight Frozen Fours from 1998-2001. It participated in three straight Frozen Fours twice 1948-50 and 2006-08.

Jerry York is tied for second place with Murray Armstrong with 14 Frozen Four victories; the duo has an identical 14-6 Frozen Four coaching record and .700 winning percentage in Frozen Four contests. Yorks 11 Frozen Four appearances are tied for second all-time with Michigans Red Berensen.

Jerry York is one of just three coaches to lead two different schools to national titles. York led Bowling Green to the 1984 title, and Boston College to the 2001, 2008, 2010, 2012 titles.

Goaltender John Muse went 8-1 in NCAA Tournament competition in his career. He earned NCAA Championships in 2008 and 2010. He allowed just one goal in two national-title game appearances and is just the fourth goaltender to post a shutout in the championship game (Boston College 5 - Wisconsin 0; 2010), joining Denvers Adam Berkhoel (2004), Boston Universitys Tim Regan (1972) and Denvers Gerry Powers (1968).

Nathan Gerbe tied the NCAA record with seven goals in four 2008 tournament victories. Additionally, Gerbes five goals in the 2008 Frozen Four in Denver, Colo., marked the first time since Dave Silk in 1977 that a player registered five goals in Frozen Four play. That mark is tied for fourth-most all-time.

HOCKEY EAST HEADLINERSBoston College was heavily decorated at the 2014 Hockey East postseason banquet at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, most notably Jerry York and Johnny Gaudreau. York was tabbed Hockey East Coach of the Year and Johnny Gaudreau earned his second-consecutive Player of the Year honor. Only two other Hockey East skaters have won the Player of the Year award consecutively. The last to accomplish the feat was Boston Universitys Chris Drury (1996-97 and 1997-98). The first to do it was current associate head coach Greg Brown (1988-89 and 1989-90). Gaudreau is the 10th Eagle to earn Player of the Year distinction and Boston College has enjoyed the award on 12 occasions. York collected his third Hockey East Coach of the Year honor, adding to his crowns from 2003-04 and 2010-11. BC has won Coach of the Year four times. Len Ceglarski was voted Coach of the Year in Hockey Easts inaugural season in 1984-85.

ACCOLADE ACCUMULATORSIn addition to some of the leagues top merits, Kevin Hayes, Bill Arnold, Michael Matheson, Steven Santini and Thatcher Demko were all honored upon seasons end by Hockey East. Hayes and Matheson joined Gaudreau as Hockey East First-Team All Stars while Demko and Santini procured spots on the All-Rookie Team. Demko was also a Hockey East honorable mention along with Arnold. Demko picked up the Goaltending Champion award, tendering the conferences lowest goals against average in league play (1.35). Arnold wrapped things up by earning a co-Best Defensive Forward decoration.

REGIONAL RABBLE ROUSERSJohnny Gaudreau won the Leonard Fowle Award as New Englands most valuable player along with the Herb Gallagher Award as its best forward and Jerry York was tabbed the Clark Hodder Award winner as the regions Division I Coach of the Year. Gaudreau becomes the sixth player to capture the Fowle Award in back-to-back seasons in New England Hockey Writers (NEHW) history. Gaudreau was joined by senior Kevin Hayes (forward) and sophomore Michael Matheson (defense) as a New England Mens Division I All-Star while senior Bill Arnold won the Frank Jones Award as New Englands top defensive forward.

SENIORS RISING TO NEW HEIGHTSThe senior class of Bill Arnold, Patrick Brown, Kevin Hayes and Isaac MacLeod played in its final game at Kelley Rink on March 16. Upon conclusion of the Notre Dame series, this class accrued 110 total victories, including one NCAA championship (2012), three Hockey East regular season titles and two Hockey East tournament titles. These Eagles have never won less than 22 games in a season and are the second-consecutive class to capture a Beanpot title every year.

CAN YOU SPARE A QUARTER?Boston College has won 25 games in a season for the fourth time in five years and nine of the last 11. Under head coach Jerry Yorks tenure, the Eagles have racked up 25 victories or more in 14-of-20 seasons. BC managed to win its 20th game this season in just its 27th outing, tying for second quickest under York. In 2010-11 and 2003-04, Boston College won 20 games in 26 tilts, marking the fastest under York. This years team matched the 2000-01 Eagles squad that emerged victoriously in 20-of-27 contests. Boston College was also the first team of the 2013-14 season to reach 20 victories this year. In all, York has coached 25 of his 42 clubs to 20 wins or more throughout his coaching career. If the Eagles capture the national championship, it will mark Yorks sixth 30-th win club he has coached.

Only five programs have won the regular season title, including Boston College (13), Boston University (7), New Hampshire (6), Maine (3) and UMass Lowell (1). The Eagles have won three of the last four Bertagna Cups, as Coach Jerry York likes to refer to the league title as.

(maroon and) GOLD STANDARDFrom Dec. 6 to Feb. 22, Boston College amassed a 19-game unbeaten streak, with 17 wins and two draws, before suffering its first loss in 92 days to Notre Dame on March 1. The Eagles 19-game unbeaten streak this season matched the longest stretch under Jerry York. The gold standard under York is BCs 19-game winning streak that resulted in a national championship during the 2011-12 season (Jan. 27 - April 7, 2012). The longest unbeaten streak in program history is 22 games, ranging from Feb. 1, 1949 to Feb. 7, 1950.

#TheStreakJohnny Gaudreau capped one of the most memorable point streaks in modern history. The Carneys Point, N.J., native scored at least one point over the course of 31-consecutive games, spanning from Nov. 1, 2013, to March 15, 2013. Gaudreaus streak was curbed on March 16. Gaudreaus point streak matched Paul Kariyas (Maine) single-season Hockey East record set during the 1992-93 season (Oct. 23, 1992 to March 2, 1993). Gaudreau has also scored a point in ALL 20-consecutive conference games, three short of Kariyas 23-game streak. This season, there were only 20 league games. In all, Gaudreau has been held scoreless only twice this season. Here are the figures from the #TheStreak:- 29 goals- 32 assists- 61 points- 1.91 points per game- 17 multi-point performances- +33 plus/minus rating- 8 power play goals- 1 short-handed goal- 5 game-winning goals- Shooting percentage of 23.2 (29-of-125)- 24-5-3 record

JUST KEEPS ON GAUDREAU-INGJohnny Gaudreau is averaging nearly two points per game (1.97 ppg) after becoming the first skater in college hockey to hit the 40-point, 50-point, 60-point and 70-point plateaus this season. Gaudreaus 32 goals and 37 assists in 37 games puts Gaudreau in the drivers seat as the countrys leader in points scored. Gaudreau is also leading the country in goals per game (0.90 gpg) and assists per game with 1.08 apg. Gaudreaus seven game-winning goals are tied for best in the land. His 21 multi-point games is the standard in college hockey, as are his nine three-point games and three four-point showings.

JOHNNY BE (doing) GOODJohnny Gaudreau still has the Frozen Four left on the schedule and is already 26 points ahead of last years points total with 77. Gaudreau tied Minnesotas Erik Haula for the most points totaled in 2012-13. Gaudreau posted a line of 21-30-51 (1.46 ppg) while Haula finished 16-35-51 (1.38 ppg). The last skater in college hockey to accrue more points than Gaudreau was Minnesotas John Pohl during the 2001-02 season. Pohl scored 79 points that year.

WALTER BROWN WINNERJohnny Gaudreau was been named the winner of the 62nd Walter Brown Award on March 26, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England. Gaudreau is the 24th Eagle to earn the Walter Brown Award and is the third BC player in the last four years to pick up the distinction, joining Steve Whitney (2013) and John Muse (2011).

CHARTING JOHNNYFor a career, Johnny Gaudreau has surpassed all three BC coaches on the career records chart. Gaudreau passed Greg Brown (120), Jerry York (134) and Marty McInnis (142) and is now 12th all-time at Boston College with 172 points (77-95-172) in 118 games played. Gaudreaus 172 total points are also second most amongst current college skaters in career points. Of the 15 top skaters in that career list, Gaudreau is the only junior listed. Everyone else is a senior.

WOW-ING MOMENTS IN WORCESTERIn the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament against Denver on March 29, Johnny Gaudreau scored that elusive first-career hat trick in his 117th game as an Eagle. Along with that, Gaudreau doled out three assists for a six-point performance. That figure tied him for the second-best performance since the tournaments history. The six-point flash counts as his second-career six-point showing (March 9, 2013 at Vermont) and is only the second player in college hockey with one this season (Matthew Peca -- 2-4-6 on Feb. 28, 2014, against St. Lawrence).

JOHNNY GOAL-DREAUJohnny Gaudreau scored his 10th power play goal of the season and 21st of his career against Notre Dame on March 15. Gaudreau has scored a power play tally in six of his last eight outings (Feb. 14 - March 15). The 5-foot-8 winger also scored a goal in six-straight outings, starting on Feb. 10 in the Beanpot Tournament and commencing on March 1 against Notre Dame. Gaudreaus six-game goal-scoring streak stands as a career high.

CAREER COUNTThe Jerry York era (1994-current) has produced some noted scorers on The Heights, but a current skater is amongst the pantheon of greats in regards to career numbers. Johnny Gaudreaus points per game average has skyrocketed up to 1.46 ppg, tying him for the MOST all-time under Jerry Yorks regime. Gaudreaus 1.46 points per game ties him with Marty Reasoner and Ben Eaves. He rests ahead of notable stars such as Brian Gionta (1.41 ppg) and Patrick Eaves (1.27 ppg).

FLYING HIGHBoston College held the distinction of the No. 1-ranked team in the country in both the USCHO.com and the USA Today / USA Hockey Magazine polls from Feb. 10 to March 2, 2014. It marked the first time the Eagles have been the top-ranked unit in college hockey since Dec. 17, 2012. Following the loss to Notre Dame on March 16, the Eagles have slipped to No. 3.

SURE BETBoston College will post its 17th-straight winning campaign under Jerry York and 74th winning season (out of 92) in program history.

THE BIG THREEThe trio of Johnny Gaudreau - Bill Arnold - Kevin Hayes has put forth unprecedented numbers since joining forces as a line on Dec. 6. Not only has BC amassed a 20-3-2 mark since these three paired as a forward line, the trio has combined for 53 goals and 75 assists (128 points) and a +86 plus/minus rating. Since the combination of these three, they have ALL scored at least one point per game in EIGHTEEN of their last 25 outings. On two occassions, The Big Three have combined for 13 points in a game, most recently against Denver on March 29 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (6-7-13). Th triumvirate turned the trick against Maine, as well, on Jan. 18 (4-9-13). They are college hockeys most lethal line as the three comprises half of the countrys top six scorers (Gaudreau - 1st - 1.97 | Hayes - 2nd - 1.62 | Arnold - 6th - 1.33).Since skating as a line together, BCs three has constituted 45.7 percent of the Eagles offense since Dec. 6 (128-of-280 points).

    CURRENT Eagles GOALIES vs. Union

  • HEM LINE 2.0?One of the most famous lines to skate through The Heights was the HEM Line that consisted of Steve Heinze, David Emma and Marty McInnis from 1988 to 1990. In two seasons together, the HEM Line totaled 363 points in 82 games played. On average, the HEM line generated 4.43 points per game. Comparably, the Gaudreau-Arnold-Hayes line averages 5.12 points per game.

BALANCING ACTThe Eagles defensive corps is tied for eight in the NCAA, surrendering only 2.28 goals per game. BCs offense is ranked tops in college hockey and is the only unit averaging over four goals per game (4.10 gpg).

QUICK CONFERENCE NOTESJohnny Gaudreaus 1.80 ppg (HEA only) is the most since UNHs Jason Krog (53 pts in 24 league games - 1998-99). Also, Thatcher Demkos 1.35 GAA in Hockey East play is the lowest since Jimmy Howards (Maine) record of 1.15 in 2003-04.

SHY OF BEING SHUTOUTBoston College has not been shutout in 98 games. That is the longest active streak in the nation. Denver is next at 68 and Union is third with 64.

demKOdFreshman goaltender Thatcher Demko has emerged as one of the countrys sturdiest goaltender and has the numbers to back it up. The San Diego, Calif., native owns the countrys 12th-best goals against average (2.16 GAA) and fifth-best winning percentage of .761 (16-4-3). Demkos save percentage rests at .920, 26th best in college hockey.

950...AND COUNTINGBoston College head coach Jerry York won his 950th game in his 1,624th game as a college head coach on Friday, Jan. 17. The victory was extra sweet having defeat archrival Boston University to gain the 950th triumph. In all, Yorks record sits at 963-576-102 (.618). Yorks 963 career victories are the benchmark of college hockey, most of all-time.

HOW BOUT THAT HAYESKevin Hayes is averaging 3.00 points per game in his last four outings, having contributed five goals and seven assists with a +9 rating. Hayes, the countrys second most productive scorer, has more than doubled his point total from his junior year with his 63 points (27-36-63). Hayes scored his first-career hat trick and added a pair of assists for a colossal five-point performance against Maine on Jan. 18. Hayes capped a 12-game point streak spanning from Nov. 29 to Jan. 25, accounting for 27 points (13-14-27) with a +20 plus/minus rating over that time. Hayes is tied for 42nd all-time with 130 career points (44-86-130).

BROWN LOW DOWNPatrick Brown was not only a hot topic on ESPN, but has also accounted for 21 points in his last 17 games, including a three-game goal scoring streak. Against Maine, on Jan. 18, Brown not only tallied his first-career two-goal game, but both strikes came via the power play. BC has not had a skater score two power play goals in a game this season and it was the first since Bill Arnold scored a pair of power play goals against Boston University on Dec. 1, 2012. The captain has been held scoreless only three times since Jan. 18. Brown scored his first-career power play goal, the game-winning marker, in his 100th-career outing as an Eagle on Jan. 10 against PC.

HIGH FIVE!On Jan. 18 against Maine, Johnny Gaudreau recorded five assists, not only setting a career-high in helpers, but setting a new standard under the Jerry York era. Gaudreau became the first skater to register five assists in one game under York. Gaudreau tallied an individual game-high six points at Vermont on March 9, 2013 (2-4--6). Gaudreaus five assists in one game is the second of its kind this year. Austin Czarnik (Miami) also accomplished five helpers in one outing.

HOMETOWN HEROSTravis Jeke (Pittsburgh) and Michael Sit (Edina, Minn.) had successful homecomings this season. Most recently at the Three Rivers Classic in Pittsburgh, Jeke skated in his first two games of the season and recorded a point in both outings, logging a goal and an assist against BGSU along with another helper against PSU. At Minnesota on Oct. 25, Sit posted his first multi-point performance at BC with a pair of goals at Minnesota. Sits two goals occurred 11 seconds apart.
