Alain Vigneault, 50, is the 16th Head Coach in franchise history. After being named to the position on June 20, 2006, he has led the Canucks toa Northwest Division title and postseason berth four times in five seasons with the club and won the Jack Adams Award as NHL Coach of theYear in 2007. Vigneault's combined regular season record (236-133-41) entering this season represents the most successful winningpercentage (0.626) by a Vancouver Head Coach.
