The HR coordinator must inform and ensure that participants bring a copy of their emails sent to parents, the Dean and students to the course on the FIRST day. The participants will use their actual previous business documentation to incorporate the concepts and phrases given in the lectures. This reinforces their understanding of the contents of the lectures and ensures application of their learning at work. There will be cases to write in class to apply these concepts. These present relevant examples to help the participants improve their grammar, punctuation, spelling and writing style. JONATHAN CHAN SENG LUM
BSc (Hons), Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Imperial College, London, United Kingdom
Jonathan Chan has 30 years of corporate experience, with 25 years in management and leadership. He was the CEO of a company
and a director of a global consulting firm. He brings a lot of his personal experience to his courses and can lead middle managers
eager to climb the corporate ladder as he knows about top management expectations of their teams.
He worked for 2 years at Price Waterhouse Hong Kong as their Senior Manager, Training, and Asia Pacific and attended the Price
Waterhouse Train-The-Trainers course in England, where he has lived for 8 years. He is also a certified PSMB trainer and an instructor
in the USA for a three week residential course in IT.
Jon has excellent command of the English language and presentation skills. He has written for regional magazines-CEO IT, Singapore
Financial Post, the Smart Investor and the Executive. Jon has presented at public conferences and seminars organised by Asia
