For this very sensitiveintensive care service, built on

a tiny lot next to the Emergency Service in full operation, we designed a very functional

building, with a luminous and efficient medical floor, topped

by a technical floor.

Client, place: Montauban Hospital, Montauban [82]

Program:Intensive care service (12 beds) and neuro-cardiovascular care service (20 beds), with

offices, supply stores and technical facilities.

Position & tasks:SCP Séquences, Design Architect,

in a team of 3 architects during design development (mostly in charge of

facades), alone during CA.

~2,000 m2

1. temperate and rigorous facades in metal and terracotta, to mirror the service operation.

2. the central patio creates a buffer between the two services.

3. four other patios bring generous natural light to all corridors and places.

A clever design accommodating fully open living spaces on a

very small site. To complete a beautiful park, this project was

designed around the “vegetation” topic: organic facades, porch

roof casting vegetal shadows...

Client, place: Nîmes University Hospital, Nîmes [30]

Program:Nursing home of 144 beds, including 72 "Alzheimer" beds. Renovation of 2

floors of the existing building (reception, lobby, library and staff places).

Challenging construction stage with a very short timeframe in an occupied site.

Position & tasks:SCP Séquences, Project Architect,

with a team of 3 architects.

focus (materials, exterior design, daylight and thermic

management...), and a great care to life quality in all spaces: rooms

with outdoor areas, natural light in all bathrooms, many meeting places, different links between

This project focuses on an environnemental approach: it takes advantage of a sloping

ground, to create a stepped hall, at the heart of student life and at

the crossing of all flows.Classrooms are organised by

blocks: covered by timber sun-shading, linked by balanced volumes, with meeting and

relaxing spaces.

Client, place: Midi-Pyrenees State, Villefranche [31]

Program:A new high school for 650 students,

with general, technological and professional education.

mEchanicaL bLock

Renovation and extension of an educational and research

building in occupied site. Client, place:

School of Aeronautics and Space (ISAE), Toulouse [31]

Program:Research and education spaces on

aeronautics (motors test bench, wind tunnels, innovative materials, models

building...), classrooms, offices.


with a team of 3 architects.This project was led in very tight

collaboration with the client: the team worked in ISAE offices for ten months. Construction completed one month in

advance with positive financial balance.

1. the facades illustrates the function: workshops of Mechanical and Aerodynamic Departments have horizontal volumes, whereas offices are covered by aluminium cladding, alternating full parts and perforated parts.

statE archivEs

For the extension and thermal upgrade of the Archives building,

we designed a compact project, with optimised staging

for relocation and renovation. Facades in resin are designed to give a nice urban visibility to this

facility.

Client, place: Haute-Vienne State, Limoges [87]

Program:Space planning of 14 new archives stores (17 linear km) and thermal upgrade of the

20 existing stores (23 linear km).


with 1 architect. Full joinery detail of the furniture (sensitive documents and

special formats)

1. the extension takes place on either side of an existing wing, accomodating furniture and services in between.

2. main facade in resin, with openings which refers to sections of books.

3. the other facades are patterned to remind archive store shelving. The "triangle base" volume was chosen to match the existing shape.

This project provide 3 types of tenancies: through units (North/

South) distributed by an external corridor; two-orientation units; both collective and individual

housing. All units have big balconies, their distribution is based on ground orientations

and the neighbourhood density.

Program:166 social housing units and 7 houses,

with 3 building stages.

My first major project: A very technical building with a high

political stakes and strong identity. Two projects happening

at once, with two clients with different requirements:

maintenance building on the one hand, rails and overhead line

network on the other.

Client, place: Tisséo (SMTC/SMAT), Blagnac [31]

Program:A complete site for tram park, daily and

major maintenance, traffic control and network administration.

Position & tasks:SCP Séquences, Design Architect,

in a team of 3 architects during design development, alone during construction.

Exploitation building:1. a concrete part, dedicated to tram daily

service, and a metal part, dedicated to reception and offices.

2. facades: a vertical metal box placed on a concrete base.

3. many colour changes depending on time and sunlight.

4. tram daily maintenance, organised as a forward movement.
