The Burren Smokehouse is an artisan smokehouse, producing a premium quality range of organic salmon, trout and mackerel products. Set up by Birgitta and Peter Curtin in 1989, the smokehouse is a family-run business focused on the finest quality food products and supported by a dedication to customer care. All fish is 100% Irish and the entire smoking process is undertaken manually.

O’Donohues have rolled out a new frozen range of products specifically designed for the foodservice industry. Brown Penny Loaves are yeast free sodas which are a source of fibre and have no added sugar. They are a perfect hand-made replacement for the soup roll in every coffee shop and hotel in the country. The penny loaves can be blast frozen to -18˚C within hours of coming out of the oven and can be shipped nationwide.
