First a word to our Canadian sisters. I really tried to design a layout that would be generic toeveryone. It did not occur to me until the photo shoot that the Canadians in our bunch would not findthis layout useful at all. My deepest apologies and regret for this error. My hope is that you cansomehow translate this to Canadian papers and stamps. So very sorry!

Let’s get started! I think it’s WAY EASIER to show you where to adhere the cutpapers to the colonial white bases rather than try to explain it.

Take the colonial white photo mats and distress the edges with Bamboo ink pad. Ilike to do it this way, but you can do it in the way you prefer.

Next, adhere them to the layout as shown.

Now, take your colonial white scrap and stamp the following:*NOTE* I forgot to include the “USA” stamp in Outdoor Denim in this picture. Be sureto include it!!!

Shadow cut the star stamps. For those who don’t know, this means leave a smallborder around the circle as your cut. For the stamps with words, I cut just barely at the

top of the tallest letters.

They won’t be perfect – to me that’s part of the charm.

Now adhere the cut out images to the metal rim tags. There will be part of the tagshowing on many of them. Position the cutouts / rotate the tag so that hole in the tagdoesn’t show.

OK, now get out your waxy flax. You have a choice - you can wrap the waxy flaxall the way around the layout, but you will use twice as much. Or, you can cut a pieceand adhere each end on the back of the layout, which is what I did. (I use scotch tapebecause our paper are buffered, and I don’t sweat the small stuff.)

I have 2 sections of waxy flax on my LEFT layout like this:

Next, take your cutting mat and place it under the RIGHT layout. Using your exactoknife, make a 1-1/4 inch slit in the paper on the bottom section, 6 inches across (youshould be in the bottom middle.)

Using the same technique as before with the waxy flax, poke one end through theslit and wrap around the left side of the layout. I did it 3 times, like this:

Now, using the foam squares, adhere the metal rim tags to the layout.
