Curso Satélite: “State-of-the-art methods in Neuroscience Research”27 – 29 September 2015.Mark Schnitzer, Johannes Letzkus, Cyril Herry y Soledad Esposito.

FALAN satellite courses in IBRO 9th World Congress
The Federation of Neuroscience Societies in Latin American, the Caribbean and the Iberian Peninsula (FALAN)
invites all interested in participating in the Satellite Courses under the 9th World Congress of Neuroscience IBRO
2015 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The satellite courses are:
1_ Cortical circuits: Anatomical, physiological and computational approaches to understand function and
plasticity.
2_ Lessons from wild brains: the art of neuroethology.
3_ New roles for glial cells in health and disease - changing the focus from neurons.
4_ Neuroethics: a dialogue between philosophy and neuroscience.

Seattle”. The Edgewater Hotel, Seattle, Washington, USA, July 24-27, 2016
Each proposal is required to contain the following information (proposals not in this format will be returned):
1. Symposium Title
2. Brief description of symposium content (~200-250 words)
3. Full name of Chair and co-Chair (if applicable) also provide position title, affiliation, and email.
4. For each speaker (3 or 4 maximum), provide talk title, full name, position/job title, affiliation and email;
verification of speaker participation is required. An individual may speak in only one symposium.
Speakers should be independent/established investigators (i.e., minimum rank of Assistant Professor or
equivalent). Oral session(s) dedicated to young investigators (i.e., students, post-doctoral fellows) are planned
and separate from this call for symposium proposals.
