Traffic and Transport

Research Program BUT ALL THESE STRATEGIES

MEET OUR NEEDS ?

Transport systems are measures for mitigation not to solve the

real problem

Until now there is no strategy for the 46 % of trips (pedestrians)

Change land use and reorganize our city planning will be less

expensive

TOD and land use policies are more effective than increase

infrastructure of transport

Transport policies (like our BRT) require not only technical

approach but also a strong legal framework and land use control

if you are looking for efficient measures

It is required to follow the master’s plan and accomplish the

goals to meet the needs of population
