numeracy: years 1-3 and years 4-6. English: This term in English we

For writing, both classes are focusing on writing letters. The

problem solving skills. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays students
work in their separate classes and this term the focus is on

Australia’s First Nation’s people. Last week we looked at
Aboriginal Astronomy, in particular the ‘Dark Emu’ of our Milky

system. Students are enjoying learning about the features of
planets and human space exploration. Art: The focus of our art
lessons this term is First Nation’s art. Dot paintings, rock art,
bark painting and other contemporary forms are being examined.
Music: Music is on Thursday afternoons and students are learning

which sound beautiful on recorder. Sport: This term students are
travelling to Taree Ten Pin Bowling each Friday for sport. This was
made possible through a sporting in schools grant. Wellbeing:
