Description: Undergraduate helper to assist in calibration and maintenance of X-Ray Laser used in a lab at UIC.Non-paid, but possible undergrad research credit or Honors College Activity.

Qualifications: Be Smart and able to learn quick. Any machining background would be a plus. No other background required. Preferred times of availability are between 8 am and 12 pm on as many weekdays as possible.

Exclusive offer from BOA• Send resumes to [email protected] by Oct. 7.

Do NOT go around BOA and bombard the professor with resumes.• We will get in trouble and won’t inform you of opportunities like this in

the future.

Stem Cell Society

• Status: In the works• Goals:

• To compile the latest stem cell research and applications from various outlets to discuss, analyze, and learn with other members.

• To provide a setting where various UIC stem cell research labs can discuss their latest research and explore collaborative possibilities with each other.

• Operation:• Bi- or tri-weekly meetings• Members compile material they’ve discovered and outline main talking

points, things of interest, and background information.• Research labs present progress at select society meetings.
