For this event, we had a talk show at OZ Radio Bandung in order to pro- mote more about AIESEC. One of our biggest event this month was Open House Unit (OHU) which was held at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on August 7 th 2010. AIESEC LC Bandung has had the chance to open a booth during OHU, and promoted AIESEC itself as a part of Open Recruitment 2010 “Global Leadership Program”. Our members were actively explaining and attracting new students of ITB to join AIESEC and be a part of our organization. The event was very crowded, ITB students were very curious about AIESEC, and how to apply as our member. We also had the chance to perform one of our roll dance on the stage. Everyone was having a great time, and hopefully the society, especially the students in Bandung, will know more about AIESEC and our activities. We proudly announce that AIESEC LC Bandung is placed on 3 rd rank in Asia Pacific and 9 th rank in AIESEC globally! 200 exchanges are delivered in 2 months. Impactful! We have also reached a total number of 1200 applicants during the Open Recruitment 2010. 300 applicants were finally chosen to move forward to the next selection process, which was the FGD (Focus Group Discussion). This is a big achievement for AIESEC LC Bandung, and we will surely keep on improving our next month’s performance! We are very proud to be a part of AIESEC LC Bandung and achieving the impossible! Student Day UNPAD
AIESEC LC Bandung was one
of the participant of Student Day
UNPAD. The event which was
held at Jatinangor Campus on
Independence Day, August
17th 2010, was similar to Open
House Unit ITB.
The purpose of this event was
to promote AIESEC and attract
new students of UNPAD to join
our organization. Our current
members voluntarily gave
information to the new students
and engage them to apply as
AIESEC LC Bandung’s new
member during the open
recruitment process.
Student day is one of the
biggest event of Open
Recruitment 2010 “Global
Leadership Program”.
Even though it was a very hot
and bright day, this event was
very successful. Hundreds of
new UNPAD students have
applied, thanks to the
members who were promoting
so well and intensively.
Student Day UNPAD was also
promoted on the radio. We
had an on air talk show with
Ardan Radio, and explained
more information about
AIESEC and how to apply as
our member.

thoughts and experience. We
wanted to hear their stories,
and gave them feedbacks on
how to make their lives better.
There were also dentistry
students who were willing to
help the child street beggars
by checking their teeth’s con-
dition. The dentistry students
also taught the children how to
brush their teeth.
Besides sharing sessions and
teeth check-up, we also
played with the children. Some
of our exchange participants
from Germany, Japan, China,
and Czech Republic, shared
their traditional games and
played energetically with the
children. At the end of the day,
everyone was happy and had
a smile upon their face. It was
a success!
Care and Share is the first
learning event of Project
Based on Exchange (PBoX)
Children. This event was held
at Black & White Café on
August 13th 2010.
Child abuse is a topic that
AIESEC LC Bandung is very
concerned about. During this
event, we invited child street
musicians to share their
