The B’nai Mitzvah Remembrance Wall

Suggested Project #1

• Connect to our past, build our future• Honor a child who perished in the Holocaust• For an $1,800 donation a tile will be added, with

the name of the bar/bat mitzvah child, along with the name and home country of a child who perished in the Holocaust.

• Proceeds raised from this project go towards developing, maintaining and advancing five Israel campsites for children.

Let us Play!Suggested Project #2

• Help provide children of Sderot with a safe and secure place to play, away from the danger of falling rockets.

• HANDS-ON: Play games or host a carnival. Invite your friends to join you. Ticket sales or sponsors will help support your project.

Adopt-A-Firefighter• Firefighters are first responders to terrorist bombs,

rocket attacks, wildfires and car accidents.• 1,400 Israeli firefighters are using outdated protective

clothing.• Donations of $1,800 will completely outfit one firefighter

with advanced protective firefighting clothing that meets today’s stringent safety standards.

• Donors receive a framed certificate, a personal letter and photograph from the “adopted” firefighter,

and an invitation to visit the firefighter at their fire station in Israel.

Play Ball! “The Great American Pastime” in Israel

Suggested Project #3

• You can help Israelis enjoy America’s favorite pastime!

• Help the Israel Baseball League purchase equipment and build new fields and facilities.

• HANDS-ON: Host a parent-child baseball/softball game and sell tickets and refreshments to support this project.

Horses Make MiraclesSuggested Project #4

• Therapeutic riding programs throughout Israel help people with emotional and physical disabilities. For riders who cannot walk, the horse is transport, for those who cannot see, their guide; for those who have difficulty learning, the horse is the vehicle to finding new skills.

• HANDS-ON: Host a Ride for Relief session at a local stable, or sell tiny toy horses for $2 each. Volunteer at a local therapeutic

riding facility.

Rise Up and SucceedSuggested Project #5

• Support JNF in helping Aleh Negev, an organization that provides disabled children in Israel with high-level medical and rehabilitative care.

• Your project will fund new therapeutic facilities including a Safari Petting Zoo project for animal therapy.

• HANDS-ON: Sell teddy bears (which you can buy in bulk) which represent the care that these children receive, to support Aleh Negev.

Essence of LifeSuggested Project #6

• Help fight Israel’s severe water crisis by supporting a water reclamation project at the Mitzpeh Ramon Air Force base in the Negev.

• Water collected will greatly benefit the thousands of air force personnel, and their families, that live on the base.

• Part of the reclaimed water will be used to maintain a new recreation area in the community.

• HANDS-ON: Make custom water bottles

and sell them to support your project.
