BMUET(TE)
BMUET(TE) is the ready-to-wear label with rebellious and sophisticated aesthetic. It strives to advance a
reinterpretation of classic and luxury with deconstruction-touch. Embracing an eye of punk inspiration and
imaginary story, The label brings a quality of elegant rawness to the style. it appears in dramatic silhouettes,
voluminous dress, tailoring uniform look with twist, androgynous jacket with meticulous cuts, structural shirts.
The duo designers Byungmun Seo and Jina Um first met whilst working as designer in Seoul and they moved to
London to broaden their boundary together. Individually, Byungmun Seo completed his Master at London College
of Fashion and Jina Um pursued new research in fashion design and collaboration with various artists in London.
And they share the experience and idea acquiring new inspiration from experimental process of research and fine
art, hi-tech trend during their stay in London. Both want to develop their inspiration and decide to launch
BMUET(TE) in 2017 and The duo takes on an endeavor to mirror the sprit of their label and design aesthetic. They
challenge to current global fashion market and expands BMUET(TE) to new and interesting areas with the
distinctive style.

2022 AUTUMN WINTER
“BOURGEOIS GESTURE”
Identifies the concept of the bourgeois attitude and gesture.
As a characteristic of the middle class that embodies their desire to rise in social status and progressive ideology in 19th century
europe, Bourgeois bring the upper-class's culture and aesthetic eyes to lower social strata.
It paved the way for styles that captured the desire for the intelligent, the sophisticated and self-confessed but infused it with a
decorative spirit that made it chic.
bourgeois embodies the impact of heritage code with luxurious touch and classic silhouettes that certainly cater to the contemporary
look and we express bourgeois gesture to reflect their rebellious aesthetic.
2022 SPRING SUMMER
“SURPLUS REALITY”
Instead of stepping into a familiar reality, we take one step further into new
experience that can never be created, boring and routine
Irrespective of the race, social standing and pre-conceived idea, we just
convey the subjective narrative from the surplus reality
