It was a rainy day and the twins were stuck inside the house.Belle was using glue to stick a picture of her friend Sue into her blue folder. Ben was doing a crossword and he needed help with a clue. “What is a word which means ‘not false’?” Ben asked.“Try true,” said Belle. “Thanks,” said Ben. It fits.”
Can you see any verbs? Can you see any question sentences? Can you draw a picture of this story? Remember to draw who is in the story and show what is happening.
EditingTheses sentence have nouns, verbs and proper nouns in them in them. Can you write the sentence out colouring the nouns red, verbs green and proper nouns blue?

Bell laughed, “Dasher has buried the bone”, she said.
