Why use technology in the classroom?

• Technology allows educators multiple options for relaying information, thus allowing students multiple ways to understand that information.

• Technology is a great way to motivate your students to create high quality work.

• It prepares students to enter a world where mastery of technology is necessary for success.

There are many types of technology available for use in the classroom.

How to Implement Educational Technology

Before introducing technology into the classroom, you must plan sufficiently!

• Assess your knowledge of content, pedagogy, and technology medium.1

• Determine what the advantage is to using this technology.2
