Share Sunday Returns Next Sunday, September 13th we will begin collection non-perishable food items for St. Josaphat’s food pantry. They have indicated the people’s need for sopa products. This would include
bar soap, dish soap and laundry soap. They would be grateful if we could help with these necessities. Thank
you for your generosity.
Religious Education for 2020-2021 COVID-19 continues to be an ongoing challenge for gatherings. Thankfully, we have been able to resume worship together since June but as a community we have always done more than worship together. We’ve learned together, in particular the youth of this parish have been formed and taught about their faith. After much consideration and prayer, I’ve decided, with agreement from Father Mark, to hold in-person classes for the Sacrament years only. This would include 6-7 year olds who prepare for 1st Communion, 15-17 year olds who prepare for Confirmation, or any young people who need to “catch up” on missed Sacraments. Given the importance of these years, I’ve deemed it necessary to hold these classes in-person. An informational meeting will be held Monday, September 14th at 6:00 PM in the Church Hall for perspective families. Blessed Sacrament will once again offer the opportunity for you or anyone you know to join the Catholic Church. This program is for adults only as we have separate programs for youth. Who would qualify to join? Those who have a desire to become Catholic AND Have never been Baptized. Baptized but never received 1st Holy Eucharist. Baptized and received 1st Holy Eucharist but have

If you have an announcement for Sept 13th bulletin please submit by Thursday, September 3rd by 9:00 am. With the holiday on the 7th we need to have bulletin submitted to publisher early. Normal deadline for bulletins additions is Monday mornings by 9:00am. The article or announcement should be submitted to the parish office as you would like it to be printed. Weekend Preached Retreat for Men
The Redemptories Retreat Center in Oconomowoc opened on July 1st and is hosting retreats. As has been the tradition, the men of Blessed Sacrament have once again been invited to attend the Silent Weekend Preached Retreat for men on September 18 - 20. Be assured that the retreat team has implemented all necessary precautions to protect the health of retreatants and staff during the pandemic. The theme for this year's retreat is "Living in a Time of Plentiful Redemption". The center offers many acres of beautiful wooded land on the shore of Crooked Lake, outdoor Way of the Cross, private rooms with bathroom and shower. The center is handicap accessible with a new elevator in the private room building. The retreat offers ample time for private and public prayer, rest, meditation, spiritual conferences daily Eucharist, Sacrament of Reconciliation, Spiritual consultation and good wholesome food!
