Observing God’s calendar is about making time holy.
Yeshua was crucified on the Preparation day, raised three days later, and ascended after forty days - the same date the waters of the great flood were dried off the earth.

Rosh Chodesh / The Head of the Month was in Temple times determined by witness observation of the first crescent of the waxing moon, then certification by the Sanhedrin - after certain Biblical definitions were applied; it should not be confused with an exact calculation of the astronomical new moon.

On Yom Teruah / the Day of Trumpet-ing, the archangel will shout “Tekiah Gedolah” - the Return of the Great One - before the Last Trump for the return of Messiah, and the resurrec-tion of the righteous dead. We don’t know the day or the hour, but we know the festival season.
On Yom haKippurim / the Day of the Atonements, two goats represent the two atonements - our sins being imputed to Ye-shua and taken away, and His righteousness being imputed to us with the aroma ascending to heaven.

) The Holy Sabbath is a twenty-five hour day, borrowing from the sixth day and from the first day. It begins when the sun is reaching the horizon, and ends after complete sunset. It requires preparation before the end of the sixth day. This ancient understanding has prophetic significance seen in Revelation.
