Black Youth Ice Hockey Initiative: A program of Hockey Nova Scotia in partnership with the Black Ice Hockey and Sport Hall of Fame Society and Sport Nova Scotia (Support 4 Sport) . The Program: A maximum of 30 players annually from HRM will be accepted into the program on a first come, first served basis. The actual program will consist of an 18 week on ice schedule, of 1- 50 minute ice session each week. The on ice session will be coordinated by fully certified HNS instructors along with community coaches who are provided training. Participants may only take part in the program for one year and then must move into regular minor hockey in their area. There is no cost for participants. Get Involved!
