THE INLINERInline rods have been the preferred choice of many French and Italian catfish anglers for many years. This rod type is ideally suited to active vertical angling, clonking and jigging. The carbon inline blank offers a fantastic and almost indestructible action. Line tangling in the rings is a thing of the past thanks to line guide. Excellent for freestyle catfish fishing where the angler holds the line in his hand and strikes by hand. The true strength in this rod is particularly evident during the fight, but for the catfish their efforts are in vain. Threader included.

THE INLINER LIGHTFishing on light tackle is booming. Landing a large specimen on light tackle is hugely enjoyable. In the Inliner Light, Black Cat has developed a rod that marries top-quality design with light weight and enough power in reserve to tame Catfish of up to 2 metres. The rod is suitable for all current styles of fishing and particularly comes into its own with freestyle clonking, where the angler positions the bait by hand and sets the strike in the same way. GODZILLA TRIPODIt took Stefan Seuß and his team more than twelve months to get this special pod for big-game fishing just right. The pod can be set up to hold rods securely at an enormous height (over 250cm) and allows the angler to hold lines out of the water over extreme distances, especially when river fishing, guaranteeing perfect contact with the bait. The Pod Deluxe can be fixed on muddy and sandy ground as special locking pins keep the legs from sinking or slip-ping. The pod can also be used on concrete surfaces, with weights attached to a hook in the middle of the tripod ensuring a firm footing. The rod butt ends are held securely in aluminum sleeves, keeping the rods in place when a catfish takes the bait violently. Special bite indicator fittings allow usage of all common models and are fixed to an especially warp resistant and extremely strong power bar. MARKER BUOYBuoy fishing remains one of the most successful methods for large catfish. Yet, because of their size, buoys with sufficient buoyancy are often difficult to transport. That is why the Black Cat team have developed a special inflatable buoy which packs away easily in the bag. The buoy is decorated with recognisable warning colour and has a snaplight holder along with a fixing eye for anchoring and a release line holder, which is arranged so that the release line hangs above the surface under tension allowing flotsam to float beneath the rig.
