B lachford Lake Lodge is a multi-season, fly-in lodge established in 1981 and proudly owner-operated. The lodge sits at the west end of remote Blachford Lake, the only facility on the 17 kilometre (12 mile) long lake. On site are a main lodge with five guest rooms and several rustic, but comfortable, log cabins, that together house approximately 35 guests. In the main lodge is a central gathering/dining room, a number of lounges, a couple of viewing decks and an outdoor hot tub spa. Also on site are a sauna and a large tipi. The lodge has a dedicated staff and interpretive guiding service is available . T he north is a school and its lessons are unlike any you will ever experience. From Yellowknife to Blachford Lake Lodge is a short 20 minute flight by charter float plane in the summer and ski-equipped bush plane in the winter.
