Banaras also known as Varanasi or Kashi is the oldest living city,

also regarded as the holiest one in India. As a magnificent seat of

Learner CentricCurriculum

The Jaipuria curriculum is an amalgamation of

best practices from India and abroad and is further

adapted to its Indian context. Using content maps

for each subject, learning goals for each child and

a set of summary sheets and lesson plans for each

ELIGIBILITY

Admissions are open for Nursery to class VII forboth girls and boys.

Minimum age for admission to Nursery is 2years 6 months, class LKG is 3 years 6 monthsand to class UKG is 4 years 6 months at thebeginning of the session (i.e. on 1st April of theyear).

The School would inform parents aboutinterview and selection process in due courseof time.

TRANSFER CERTIFICATES

Students who are under transfer from schools(including outside U.P.) must have their TransferCertificates counter-signed by the Inspector of

Schools of the state concerned.

For admission to Nursery, LKG, UKG and class I,parents are required to submit:

For admission to other classes a certificate fromthe head of the institution where the student ispresently studying, will have to be produced atthe time of registration. The Original copy of theBirth Certificate must be produced forverification when required. Application foradmission should be given in the appropriateform. Children, along with their parents, will beinterviewed, if necessary, by the Principal.

REGISTRATION FEEProspectus and registration form can beobtained from the school office and completedregistration forms can be registered by paying aregistration fee of ` 500. The said registration feeshall be non-refundable.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Please note that for theAcademic Year 2015 theschool shall function fromNursery to class VII and willadd further classes from2016 onwards.

The medium of instruction is ENGLISH and the school provideseducation to both boys and girls within a span of 14 yearsdivided as under:

Nursery, Class LKG and UKG : Primary School

Class I to V : Junior School

Class VI to VIII : Middle School

Class IX to XII : Senior School

CALENDAR

The academic year begins from April.

Summer Holidays are from the third week ofMay to the last week of June.

Winter Holidays of one week are observedin the last week of December.

Other holidays during the year are notifiedin the school diary.

School has adopted SMS Gateway for directcommunication with Parent / Guardian.

ROLE OF PARENTS

Parents are expected to cooperate with theschool authorities in maintainingpunctuality, regularity and discipline.

Parents should ensure that their wards takean active interest in the school activities.

CHANGE OF PROSPECTUS

The instructions given in this prospectussupersede all other regulations reproducedelsewhere or printed in earlier issues. Theprospectus is liable to change without

notice. Any such changes, when made, willbe binding on all existing students also.

SCHOOL UNIFORM, BOOK-LIST and DIARY

The instructions for the same would begiven to the child and parents at the time ofadmission finalisation.

GOVERNMENT ORDER

ORDERS, WHEN RECEIVED.

Parents are required to sign their ward'sProgress Reports and return the Progress

Report when required.

Private tuitions are not encouraged. Parents

are requested not to engage teachers ofthis school as private tutors for their wards.

Parents / guardians and others arerequested not to visit the classes or meetthe teachers (in school campus) without theprior permission of the Principal.

Parents are required to notify the schooloffice of any change in their address.

All communications with the school shouldbear the name, scholar number, class andsection of the student.

Only written requests from parents to allowthe child to leave before the school getsover will be entertained.

Parents are advised not to call away theirwards during class hours.

All belongings of students should bear theirnames and classes. The school will not beresponsible for any losses.

Students should not bring mobile phones orother such electronic gadgets to theschool.

Parent-Teacher Meetings are held at regularintervals to provide parents and teachers anopportunity for exchanging views on theprogress of the students.

An Open House is held on every 3rdSaturday of the month which gives theparents and teachers an opportunity tomeet and discuss the child’s developmentand progress.

While every possible care is taken to ensurethe safety and security of the students atthe school, the school authorities will notbe responsible for any injury (fatal orotherwise) sustained by any student of the

school during organised activities taken upinside or outside the school or during transitfrom home to school and back.
