It is so easy to get caught up in demands and pleasures; it is easy to forget what really matters. Jesus came to us as a sweet, pure, innocent baby. He came for us, to experience our lives and what it feels like to be human. He too felt sadness, and despair, and loss. FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Ludden Family,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord….words of Advent, and words to live by every day. As we go about our busy lives, we sometimes forget just what this life and all the busyness is about. It is so easy to get caught up in demands and pleasures; it is easy to forget what really matters.
Jesus came to us as a sweet, pure, innocent baby. He came for us, to experience our lives and what it feels like to be human. He too felt sadness, and despair, and loss. He consistently showed us what it is like to be kind, and mindful, and forgiving. He shows tenderness; He shows love.
In this Holy Season, we need to remember the simplicity and sweetness of that miracle of life who came to redeem us all.
Jesus has indeed blessed Bishop Ludden with many gifts and many good people who listen to His word, and pave the way for goodness and light to come from the hands and hearts of our young people.
God bless you and all those you love with true joy as you unfold the miracle of Christmas.
God bless you!

Practice, practice, practice. If one of the keys to success in education
is practice, then an important question becomes, “What tools are available to students
to facilitate practice?” If you are a student in Dr. Ostrander’s
classes, there are many such tools available on the web. Two of the newest additions are the
“Parts of a Microscope Worksheet” (see http://www.nyostrander.us/Science7/Assignments/MicroscopePartsWS.pdf ) and the “Parts of a
Microscope Worksheet Key” (see http://www.nyostrander.us/Science7/AnswerKeys/
MicroscopePartsKey.html). The fun part is the answer key web page.
It comes complete with card flips which allow students to practice by hovering the cursor over
the cards which automatically flip over to reveal the name of the microscope part and
then flip back to a letter that identifies that part on the image of the microscope. This allows for repeated practice until mastery is achieved. So,
have fun learning on Doc O’s whacky world where you can click it and learn it.

please call the Health Office at 459-7160. Our student handbook clearly states that all students must
be clean shaven each day they come to school. This includes their upper lip, their chin, their lower sideburns and
under the chin.
We reminded all students (boys) on 11-28-16. We also told them that if they are not clean shaven in our opinion, they will receive a detention and will be asked to shave in our
Health Office with a disposable razor or an electric razor. Please be assured that we keep all shaving supplies
complete sanitary.
If they refuse to shave, the parent will be called and will be given the option of convincing their child to shave here at school, or, to come and pick up their child to take them
home to shave.
We truly hope that all students come to school
clean shaven each day so that this never becomes
an issue.
