New business development and market launchDesigning a strategy to launch a new product successfully and thenmarket it with maximum returns is a critical task of senior management.

It is especially important for Life Science and healthcare companiesand academics that lack the resources and experience to fully developand launch an innovative product/service in the emerging markets ofSouth Eastern Europe. The latter are characterized by regulatoryvolatility and sociopolitical complexities.

BioProsperity provides expertise in commercialization scenarios thatincorporate regional socioeconomic market trends, different productprofiles, alliance approaches and partnering types to model the mostappropriate strategy for our clients.

Our consulting team carries many years of industry R&D, financialmanagement and commercial experience in our region. This capabilityallows us to accurately identify critical risks and vital opportunities forprofit maximization.

S/T objectivesTo demonstrate the technology performance in two different case studies in structures located in marine and terrestrial environments.

To demonstrate the environmental value of the developed technology by analyzing the environmental behavior of the two treated structures as case study and their LCA.

To analyze the costs of commercial production of the developed technology within the frame of LCCA

To provide the technical knowledge and recommendations for the use of this kind of coatings in structures to different stakeholders (civil engineers, technological providers, off-site and on-site workers…) through training and education.

Key points to be addressed

• The viability of the microorganisms in the coating, how they will act and how long they will be viable needs to be considered in more depth.

• An important part of Milestone M1 must already be known and WP3 seems late starting since it is a key one.

• An additional testing location belonging to a colder region of Europe should be also selected, as more representative for the European climate.

• The proposal should add business plan elements to demonstrate the feasibility and market potential.

• Barriers that could limit the exploitation should be identified
