Cytokinin Activities• stimulation of cell division

• promotion of growth of axillary buds (with auxin)

Cytokinin and Auxin• Cytokinin and auxin together promote cell

division and expansion

• Agrobacterium induces the proliferation of plant cells, leading to crown gall disease
