To improve his arranging and production skills he moves to Boston where he graduates at the prestigious Berklee College of Music after receiving a scholarship award. The Jazz and experimental music has always influenced his artistic direction, enough to take him to work with major artists such as Robin Eubanks, Greg Hopkins and recording two important jazz albums with percussionist Claudio Scolari (Colors of red Island and Synthesis): the recordings got a great critical acclaim receiving more than 50 reviews around the globe on magazines like All About Jazz (USA), The Jazz Page (Japan) and Monsieur Delirè (France). After sharing the stage with Annie Lennox and Carole King, during the Berklee Commencement Concert, he collaborates as a drummer and keyboardist in the multimedia show “Basetrack Liveproduced by Annie Hamburger (Walt Disney Entertainment) and created by Edward Bilous (Juilliard Music School of NYC) during a national US tour. His musical vision brings him to experiment new genres focusing on the research of electronic sounds and beats: Dan Cavalca is the synthesis of this artistic evolution that brings him to shape a new electronic setup as a multiinstrumentalist. His latest creations are collected in the album "Cinematic", a collection of frames and memories. Through the use of sounds, colors and emotions, Dan Cavalca guide the listener on an inner reflection that leads him to find the true dimension of himself. The extreme taste for detail pushes the artist, as a goldsmith, to seek inspiration in the original melodies that become the heart of the new musical creations. The album, presented with the first single Life Time Lapse, consists of seven songs and is entirely written and produced by the artist. www.dancavalca.com [email protected] Press: Divinazione Milano [email protected] Label: Terzo Millenio
