Bio coal

The Green Coal Project is an agricultural venture to produce torrefied wood Bio coal briquettes/pellets in order to satisfy the ever growing energy market requirement for a renewable and sustainable biomass replacement of conventional coal. This is envisaged to include an invader bush clearing, production and logistical component resulting in delivering an environmentally friendly product to all traditional coal users.

The bio fuel is produced in a fast and clean procedure in which spices of invader bush bio mass is torrefied. those bush species are not endemic and took over huge parts of the Namibian landscape, damaging the water sources, pushing the wild life and reducing grazing and agriculture lands. By harvesting those specific species we allow the endemic nature to reestablish those lands and creating new opportunity for agriculturist.

Green coal factory is using world wide registered patents which gives a new efficiency in coal manufacturing. The process is successive and within only 3 minutes the shift from wet biomass to ready to use bio coal is occurring. Furthermore It is taking place without the emission of nitrogen, sulfur, smoke, smell or methane gases which are normally discharged in parallel productions like charcoal.

The calorific value of our bio coal is equivalent to coal. High quality energy in a very competitive prices even for low grade

energy. High energy efficiency. has no emissions of smoke or toxic gases. Easy ignition. Less blackening then normal coal. Equable burning and without sparks. The homogenous shape of the pallets makes it possible to ‘pave’ the

barbeque surface to achieve equal heat. Long shelf life. Advantage in shipping due to high levels of compression. Continuous supply according to demand . Possibility for relabeling the bags with your own brand. Produced only from invader bushes which ‘suffocating’ wild nature. Made of 100% natural & organic materials.
