Standards •BI 9.c. Students know how to feedback

loops in the nervous and endocrine system regulate conditions in the body.

•This standard relates to my topic because the pancreas is located in the endocrine system and the diabetes take place in the pancreas

Page 15: Bio

Standards • BI 4.d. students know specialization of cells

in multicellular organisms is usually due to different patterns of gene expression rather to differences of the genes themselves

• This standard relates to diabetes because sometimes diabetes can be passed by generations of ancestors that deals with your genes because you can be a carrier or have diabetes

Page 16: Bio

Standards Linked Together

•My standards are linked together because they talk about the pancreas and were the insulin is made and they also talk about the genetics and how the diabetes can be passed from one another
