2005 Organized the Fifth UGC Refresher Course in Women's Studies held from March 1-21, 2005. Fifty three scholars from various disciplines attended the Course. It was inaugurated by Prof Neeta Kumar, Professor and Director, Center for Postcolonial Education, Varanasi & Visiting Professor, Department of History, University of Michigan, USA. Many distinguished scholars and Deans and Directors of different Faculties and Institutes of Banaras Hindu University were present in this occasion.
