By studying in Beijing, I believe that I could have ample opportunities to meet with and hear from leading economic voices in China, especially those on the forefront of Chinese policies. When I read on BiMBA's website that Prof. Justin Lin spoke at the graduating ceremony, I thought to myself: that is exactly the type of person I would like to hear from, and believe I could get those kinds of opportunities at BiMBA.

MEET OUR FACULTY

This roundtable conference is one of my most memorable moments in my BiMBA life. Scholars that understand the complexities of China, be it in economics, politics and social structure, a place that have the reputation to gather elites in respective fields into the same venue to talk about -the future decade of China, a topic that attracts attention from all over the world. The most exciting thing about this conference is you get the chance to hear top economists in China to discuss and debate about hot issues about the future ten years of China. One really can get some insights about China from professors in Peking University, where would you find a better place than BiMBA?

I had my college degree at UCLA in US and operated my own business in Taiwan after graduation. I chose BiMBA, China as my MBA destination because of the market. BiMBA has very rich faculty from all over the world, from US, Europe, which can meet my requirements. I don’t have to go to US, while I can still have world-class.

CURRICULUMBiMBA’s MBA curriculum is designed to link western management theories with China’s economic and social realities so as to furnish students with both global and Chinese perspectives. The teaching language is English for both full-time (18 months) and part-time (24 months) programs.

The ICP is similar to real business consulting projects. Students can immerse themselves in a real business environment, and apply the knowledge, skills and experience they have acquired from their MBA courses. With the ICP program, students can learn to work against deadlines, write management reports, and make professional presentations. The quality and applicability of the program’s outcome are assessed by a jury of both academics and business professionals, and the reports of ICP will be credited as their graduation thesis.

BEYOND MBA:US Master of Science in Global Finance

The classes offered at Fordham were instrumental to me because the knowledge I acquired from these classes helped me obtain my current job in Standard Chartered Bank. The course materials prepped me well for the tough interview questions and the experienced professors helped me to see things from a different angle.

MBA education plus a solid finance-concentrated education experience will make talents more competitive in the financial industry, equiping with the ability to understand and implement corporate goals through financial strategy and apply the financial tools to maximize corporate values.

Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF), supported by a $1 million grant from the NASDAQ OMX Educational Foundation, is a jointly administered program by BiMBA at Peking University and Fordham University in New York (ranked 15th among the Best Business Schools in Finance Specialty by the U.S. News and World Report in 2013). MSGF will serve students who have earned an MBA and want to gain a specialization in finance.

To complete the degree, students need to take three courses in Peking University and three on location in New York with a series of lectures and company visits. Program fees of MSGF are USD 13,500 (in 2013) plus travel and living costs.

I was a junior sales manager for a local company in Guangzhou before MBA. BiMBA provided me a good internship opportunity at GE and then I joined GE after graduation. Three years later I was promoted as Marketing Director. Later I got a senior management role in Dow Chemical (China) and now I am the general manager of an important section in my current company. BiMBA experience is the turning point of my career.

China-Brazil relationship is developing in an unprecedented pace. Such development requires professionals who are able to understand both sides. Coming to BiMBA gave me a broader understanding about China and put myself in a very privileged position in terms of connecting these two important nations. China is a place to be, BiMBA is the front gate!

During the year in BiMBA I witnessed the changes in all of us. It goes way beyond experience and knowledge gained. Actually we have built invaluable connections. This is especially beautiful when mine is 6000 km away, seven-hour time zone difference…Now I feel I will never walk alone anymore and I can always rely on the collective rather than just myself.

Something that was incredible about the summer trip was that not only did we get to travel with students from West Point, we got to have lectures before or after certain places we visited. And it just boosted all your knowledge and learning about what you were really seeing.

The world has witnessed a rapidly evolving business landscape with an explosion of growth in the emerging markets, namely the BRICs countries. Middle classes have emerged and vast populations of new consumers have entered the market. At the forefront of this explosion stands one country that will lead us into the next century: China. So I am looking to begin the second chapter of my life in China. Tapping into a foreign market with different customs, languages and limited contacts presents a unique challenge.

BiMBA offers a rare opportunity to learn about China as a whole, including its customs, history, business culture and language. All of which are essential to do business in China.

Gregory Jones,American2013 Full-time ClassPre-MBA Job: Private Wealth Management / Morgan Stanley

I walked out of BiMBA without fear. With the new tools I acquired from professors and friends I made,I took on something I have never done before – real estate development. Whenever I encounter problems, I just have to call classmates and they can give me unbiased suggestions. Classmates even flew down to Guangdong to give me guidance on the land I am developing. With the handful of students carefully selected from thousands of applicants each year, the network one can leverage at BiMBA is of high quality. The connection you can build is not limited to just your current classmates, but it goes on to: friend of classmates, spouses, relatives, colleagues, bosses, and previous and future MBA and EMBA students. Just last week, through the connection made during MBA, I was able to meet with general managers of world-class consulting firms, banks, and real estate developers. They are the people I could not have touched so quickly and so directly without going through BiMBA.
