Interaction designdefinizioni
I would say that it’s about shaping oureveryday life through digital artifacts –for work, for play and forentertainment.
Gillian Crampton Smith
The interaction designer has threequestions to answer; they are all“How do you…?” questions
Bill Verplank

Interaction designdefinizioni
The design of the subjective and qualitative aspects of everything thatis both digital and interactive.
Bill Moggridge
Interaction designdefinizioni

The aim of this book is to give you a sense of the history of interaction design and to
introduce you to many of the people who havebeen instrumental in making it happen and
whose ideas will influence its future.

l’ icona come convenzione

“Our windows to the digital world have been confined to flat rectangular screen and pixel painted bits. But while our visual senses are steeped in the sea of digital information, our bodies remain in the physical world. Tangible bits give physical form to digital information, making bits directly manipulable and perceptible. ”

“Using simple bottles as a containers and conduits of online digital information.[…] We extended the meaning of the container into the digital domain, and also the simple affordance of opening and closing it.”

“I use a kind of gesture that tells the system that I want to pick up this information. It is invisible, but I conceptually think that I am holding the digital object.[…] I think direct manipulation is still very important.[…]In the near future we can live in a mixture of digital space and physical space.”
