Bilfinger Babcock CZBilfinger Babcock CZ is a well known provider of steam generators and power plant equipment. The company continues the longstanding tradition of Brno power engineering, dating back to 1814 when the company roots established while its first steam engine produced already in 1824. Continuous innovations and new steam generation equipment development enables Bilfinger Babcock CZ to satisfy even the most demanding quality requirements and ensure outstanding performance with minimum impact to the environment. Bilfinger Babcock CZ is a subsidiary of the German company Babcock Borsig Steinmüller GmbH.

Competent project executionBilfinger Babcock CZ owns complete chain of project execution competences starting from strong engineering resources, time management, quality control, expedit-ing and logistics up to site management of assembly and commissioning and/or project documentation. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified; OHSAS 18001 certificate is maintained within Health & Safety. Different inter-national codes and standards has been applied; EN and ASME (S stamp) of essence.

Scope of activitiesBilfinger Babcock CZ provides comprehensive boiler solutions for broad variety of customer applications. For our fired boilers we use wide range of fuels including biomass, coal, different gases/off-gases, oils and other liquid fuels. Our waste heat recovery boilers are typically installed behind gas turbines (HRSGs); alternatively for different industrial waste heat utilisation. The solutions by Bilfinger Babcock CZ represent technical perfection and consistent customisation from technical study to final delivery and assembly; lifetime service including reconstructions and operational improvements.

Reconstructions and Operational ImprovementsComplete boiler rehabilitation, performance enhancement or operational characteristic improvement of existing equipment is integral part of Bilfinger Babcock CZ service portfolio - we make boilers more environmental friendly and increase plant flexibility and/or availability. We offer excellent competence in reduction of NOx emissions with state-of-the-art solutions of primary emissions control measures (fuel preparation, burners, OFA systems etc.).

3D Laser ScanningBilfinger Babcock CZ offers solution for real state into model transformation. The shape and dimensions of a real device is transferred to a virtual computer model; and within few minutes the three-dimensional digital imprint of the real space and equipment is available. It is formed by individual point clouds. The point clouds are then numerically processed, filtered, transferred and exported to necessary formats.

Comprehensive services ReferencesTests and DiagnosticsBilfinger Babcock CZ provides at site inspections and revisions, technical studies and consultations. We offer warranty measurements and/or measurements of other operational characteristics including diagnostics and equipment analysis such as residual life-time assess-ment. We are certified for emission measurements.

Technical Assistance Bilfinger Babcock CZ owns highly educated engineering team who can further assist with technical expertise in the fields such as thermal calculations, stress calculations for both pressure equipment and structural works, piping routing, plant layouts including 3D model etc.
