Règles de conduite pour les vététistes 1. Porte toujours des gants et un casque, car les gens intelligents se protègent. 2. Ne roule que sur un vélo techniquement irréprochable. Vérifie régulièrement ton matériel. 3. Entretiens ta forme et ne surestime pas tes capacités, souviens-toi que certaines routes sont situées à plus de 3000 m. d’altitude. 4. Respecte toujours le code de la route et n’emprunte que les voies autorisées aux VTT. 5. Protège les plantes et les animaux, ne roule que sur des routes et des chemins tracés. 6. Ne traverse jamais les forêts et les prairies en dehors des chemins. 7. Fais attention aux randonneurs et aux promeneurs, sois aimable et descends de vélo s’il le faut. 8. Ne dévale pas les pentes à toute allure. Si des promeneurs arrivent en face de toi, réduis ta vitesse à une allure adaptée. 9. Referme toujours derrière toi les barrières et les clôtures. 10. Respecte les consignes et la signalisation de la police, de l’armée et du personnel forestier. Ravitaillement Emporte suffisamment de nourriture et de boisson. En tant que downhiller je m’engage à respecter la nature et je dépose tous les déchets dans les poubelles prévues à cet effet ou les emporte avec moi. Je fais attention aux randonneurs et aux piétons et leur laisse toujours la priorité. 2. En tant que downhiller, j’utilise pour pratiquer ce sport les routes tracées spécialement, je respecte les consignes et les panneaux d’interdiction et ne passe jamais dans les prairies ou les prés. Je n’utilise pas de chemins sauvages et j’évite de faire peur aux animaux sauvages. Je prends acte du fait que je puisse rencontrer de la circu- lation à tout moment aux carrefours de la rue Sunnegga paradise – Tuftern – Zermatt, et j’adapte ma vitesse en conséquence. 3. En tant que downhiller, je suis les consignes du personnel des télé- phériques et des collaborateurs du Bike Park. En outre, je respecte les directives en matière de transport des bikes. Les downhillers sont ache- minés jusqu’à Sunnegga paradise et au Gornergrat par téléphérique. 4. En tant que downhiller, je pratique mon sport à mes risques et périls. Je suis conscient que ce sport comporte des risques inhabituels n’étant pas entièrement couverts par les assurances «classiques» comme la SUVA etc. et dispose par conséquent d’une assurance personnelle qui couvre les risques supplémentaires. Je dispose également d’une responsabilité civile privée pour les dommages causés à autrui. En cas d’accident, je renonce à faire valoir des dommages et intérêts à l’encontre de Zermatt Bergbahnen AG ou de Gornergrat Bahn et prends acte que Zermatt Bergbahnen AG et Gornergrat Bahn rejettent toute responsabilité en cas d’accident ou de dommage matériel. 5. En tant que downhiller, je m’engage à porter des vêtements de pro- tection adéquats. Le port du casque est obligatoire pour moi. 6. Les downhillbikers s’engagent à retirer un numéro de départ à la sta- tion Sunnegga paradise ou auprès de Gornergrat Bahn et s’engagent à le porter constamment lorsqu’ils sont sur les pistes de manière visible et de le restituer une fois leur forfait expiré. Sans numéro, les down- hillers ne pourront pas utiliser les moyens de transport. En cas d’accident ou de dommage matériel, je le signale immédiatement à un point de vente. 7. Si vous quittez la piste tracée, Zermatt Bergbahnen AG ou Gornergrat Bahn sont autorisées à exiger une amende de 75,00 CHF. Par ailleurs, le billet de transport est confisqué et non remplacé. Zermatt Bergbahnen AG, Gornergrat Bahn et Zermatt Tourisme vous souhaitent beaucoup de plaisir à pratiquer le biking à Zermatt! Always wear gloves and a helmet – be clever and protect yourself. 2. Only ride a bike which is in the best possible technical condition. Check your equipment regularly. 3. Keep yourself fit and never over estimate your capabilities, remember that some routes reach up to 3’000 metres above sea level. 4. Always obey traffic regulations and only use routes marked as bike paths. 5. Show consideration for plants and animals and only use existing roads and paths. 6. Never ride cross-country through woods and meadows. 7. Show consideration for hikers and pedestrians, be friendly and dismount when necessary. 8. Never ride recklessly downhill. If you see hikers coming towards you, reduce your speed appropriately. 9. Always close gates and gates to meadows behind you. 10. Follow instructions from the police, military and forest workers. As a downhill rider, I will take care of nature and dispose of rubbish only in the bins provided for this purpose or will take it away myself. I will be careful of hikers and pedestrians and will grant them right of way at all times. 2. As a downhill rider, when practising my sport I will only use the routes marked for this purpose, I will take heed of rules and notices and will under no circumstances ride over meadows and fields or use paths used by wild animals. I will also avoid disturbing wild animals. I am aware that I should expect traffic at crossroads with the Sunnegga paradise – Tuftern – Zermatt road at all times and will adapt my speed accordingly. 3. As a downhill rider, I will follow the instructions of cable car personnel and Bike Park employees. I will also adhere to rules regarding the trans- port of bikes. Downhill riders will be taken as far as Sunnegga paradise and to Gornergrat by train. 4. As a downhill rider, I practise my sport at my own risk. I am aware that this sport is associated with unusual risks that are not completely covered by “normal” insurance such as SUVA and thus have personal accident insurance which covers the additional risks and have personal liability insurance in case of damage to third parties. Should an accident occur, I will not make claims against Zermatt Bergbahnen AG or Gornergrat Bahn and am aware that Zermatt Bergbahnen AG and Gornergrat Bahn completely reject all liability for accidents and damage to property. 5. As a downhill rider, I will make sure I wear appropriate protective clothing. It is obligatory for me to wear a helmet. 6. Every downhill rider is obliged to get a start number at the Sunnegga paradise valley station or Gornergrat Bahn and must display this in full view during all rides and to return this when it is no longer valid. No downhill rider will be able to use transport without a number. Accidents and damage to property will be reported immediately by me at a point of sale. 7. Should I leave the marked course, Zermatt Bergbahnen AG or Gorner- grat Bahn are entitled to levy a fine of CHF 75.00. In addition, my ticket will be withdrawn and will not be replaced.
