What is College Signing Day
College Signing Day Programs celebrate seniors pursuing college, tech school, military commitments or
apprenticeship programs and inspire underclassmen to proactively create post-secondary plans. Whether you
work alone or with a team, you can implement this program.

What’s UpNext
UpNext is Reach Higher’s text messaging tool that sends students text messages about applying for college, receiving federal student aid, and paying back student loans after graduation.
★ Student data collection via Google Form (for event brochure)★ Planning (no practice prior to the event) - April★ Admin./Faculty led, student centered★ Audience: Parents, administration, faculty, entire student body,
media, armed forces and college representatives invited★ First event of its kind in school history
In 2015 we were the first school on Southern Illinois to host a College Signing Day event-we honored 83% of our senior class, in 2016 we honored 90%; in 2017 we honored 94% (our goal was 95%).
