iii) All the candidates must be a permanent domicile of West Bengal. In case of ICAR’s nominees, this clause shall not be applicable.
iv) The reservation of seats as per State Govt. declared policy will be followed for specific type of physically handicapped individuals who fulfil the minimum Physical fitness, essential to take theory and practical courses of agricultural education.
v) Candidates having proficiency in Sports and Games can apply under Sports Quota for B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. Course only.
vi) Minimum eligibility for Sports Quota: The candidate must have to represented District level competitions / tournaments or higher levels in Table Tennis /Badminton / Cricket / Football / Volleyball organized by District Sports Association / State Sports Association or similar other organization. Participation Certificate issued by appropriate District Sports Authority or higher level must be uploaded at the time of submission of application form.
Candidates would be eligible for admission based on a sports trial to be conducted by the University authority at its own sports ground in presence of experts in individual fields of sports. The candidates appearing for the sports trial would be required to produce the Sports Certificate along with the District/State Player’s Identity Card, if any, in original, along with photocopy.
vii) Candidates seeking reservation/ relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PH quota must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation / relaxation as per eligibility criteria prescribed by Govt. of WB. They should be in possession of all the requisite certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim and the date of issuance of certificate should be earlier than the closing date of submission of application.
viii) The candidates must be of good health and capable of undertaking extensive fieldwork. The selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination before admission.
(3) CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION:
If it is found at any stage that a candidate has obtained admission by misrepresentation and/or suppression of facts, his/her admission shall be liable to be cancelled, without assigning any reason.
(4) SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS (IN A-4 SIZE PAPER) AT THE TIME OF COUNSELING:
vi) Self attested copy of ADHAAR Card / Voter’s Identity Card issued by the Election Commission in favour of the
candidate or his/ her parent (if any)/Guardian.
(5) SUBMISSION OF BLOOD ELECTROPHORESIS (THALASSAEMIA) TEST REPORT:
The candidates who are admitted after counselling are required to submit self attested copy of Blood Electrophoresis
(Thalassaemia) test report to the Medical Officer, BCKV.
(6) RESIDENCE: Residing in the Hostel is compulsory except for the student who resides within 15 km distance from
the respective campus. Students have to pay the requisite fees for accommodation in the Hostel. Students admitted
will have to abide by the relevant rules and regulations of the Viswavidyalaya.
(7) ANTI-RAGGING: Anti-ragging declaration form would be issued at the time of admission, which would be
required to be signed by the candidates and their guardians and to be submitted to the concerned Deans / Associate
Deans (for Burdwan and Bankura Colleges) / Dean Students’ Welfare on the date of reporting for classes/ date of
reporting for Hostel. Only after receipt of Anti-Ragging Declaration Form, the University Registration Certificate
would be issued to the admitted candidates.

(8) MODE OF APPLICATION (ONLINE ONLY) AND PAYMENT OF FEES (ONLINE & OFFLINE)
Apply online through the Viswavidyalaya website (www.bckv.edu.in). The details of application fee is given below; the application fee may be paid through online & offline mode. Application fees once paid will not be refunded.
II. Day Scholar: Admission Fee Rs. 11,425/- including 1st Semester fee (Rs. 5,275/-).
(11) Date of publication of Merit List and Dates of Counselling: To be notified later on in University Website.
(12) Special Attention: The merit list will be generated based on the marks provided by the applicants in the online admission form. Beyond the last date provided for editing/modification, i.e. 17.06.2019, any kind of change in marks will not be taken into consideration.
The merit list, along with admission schedule, will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Admission and
Scholarship Section at Mohanpur Campus and also in the University Website. Admission will be made only on the
basis of merit list following a process of counselling. On the day of counselling, candidates who will be found eligible
after verification of documents with the data provided in the Admission Form, will only be allowed to take admission.
N.B.: The lowest percentage of marks index up to which students under various categories secured
admission during the academic session 2018-19, are as follows:
