• Where we felt ,that mishandling of text books was the most important problem to be solved.

• Ministry of Education of Bhutan provides free education, the text book are free too. Every year government spends a lot in purchasing text book for e.g., in our school, Total Expenditure just for class ten text books would be Nu1097 x 70 studs'=Nu 76,790

• There for we thought to help the school and the government to cut down the expenditures and also help the children to have conducive learning materials.

Feed back It reminds the students, parents and teachers to

take proper care of textbooks The program would go a long way in extending the

life span of textbooks which would help in reducing government expenditure.

It promotes the idea of becoming self-reliant and instills in the young minds the way of taking care of public property.

- As said by Principal- Students have become more responsible in taking

good care of the text books, by not leaving it in the class, covering the books.
