Senior Architectural Revit/CAD Technician

Atkins is one of the world's leading engineering, design and project management consulting company. Atkins has the

breadth and depth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time critical infrastructure projects.

I assisted in concept sketch CAD drawings for client approval and responsible to produce drawings for preliminary

design, details design, tender documentation and construction drawings for site execution. I do multi-discipline

design co-ordination with internal discipline (Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical) and with other sub-

consultant (Interior, Landscape and Fire) of various projects using Revit Architecture (BIM) & AutoCAD software. I

am responsible to co-ordinate and monitor project CAD team.

Also I worked in site as Architectural Site Inspector for Bank Muscat Headquarters Building. I was responsible to do

Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy

Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy, Muscat. Oman

Team lead Revit Draftsman

200 million US dollar, Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy being built next to the Sultan Qaboos

Sports Complex in Muscat. Project includes Main indoor stadium, area of 40,000 Sq.M which

consists 60m and 200m indoor running track, indoor aquatic training centre with Olympic size

swimming and diving pools housing spectator stands for 1000 people, International

Multipurpose hall housing spectators for 3000 people, indoor training tennis court, squash

court, 300 seat auditorium, gymnasium, sports medicine centre, sports science faculty,

laboratories and 180 bed accommodation for athletics and coaches including associated

facilities.

Also includes 3000-seat outdoor tennis stadium, 500 seat outdoor stadium for a 400m athletics

track and beach volley ball. Other training facilities such as football fields, hockey, tennis court

including other outdoor changing facilities.

I was responsible to produce drawings for concept design, preliminary design and master site

plan of all buildings for client approvals and preliminary design submission. As team lead revit

technician for main indoor stadium, I am responsible to produce drawings for detail design,

tender documentation and to do internal multi-disciplines design co-ordination. I was

responsible to co-ordinate and monitor project revit drafting team of three technicians including

other buildings. Project was fully documented in revit (architecture and structural) and

completed tender documentation.





The Sail, Ghubra Comercial Building

The Sail, Ghubra Commercial Building, Ghubra, Oman

Team Lead Revit Draftsman

Ground + three storey high end commercial building to produce gross area of

12,000 Sq.M for Al Habib & Co. Building includes speciality retail shops including

two F&B outlets at the ground floor and two F&B outlets at the third floor. Minimum

shop size will be 30 sqm. Basement parking includes 76 single car parks and 2

disabled car parks and 18 on grade parking is provided for shoppers and retailers

within the plot area.

I was responsible to prepare detail design drawings and to do design co-ordination

with other disciplines. I was responsible to communicate and to do design co-

ordination with interior, landscape and fire sub–consultant for the construction

submission. Project was fully documented in revit (architecture and structural) and

in construction stage.




Ministry of Health Headquarters Building, Muscat. Oman.


130 million US dollar development for Ministry of Health consists new head quarter office

building (49,400 Sq.M), 400 seat Auditorium (1800 Sq.M), multi-storey car park for 789 cars

(39500 Sq.M) and technical building (6300 Sq.M). The new six storey's HQ office building has

been designed to accommodate 1,500 staff. The building is comprised of four volumes that are

connected to a central atrium courtyard with palm groves. The central atrium is the main point

of entry into the building and it is created as a public and private space allowing the employees

to interact with public. Beyond the central atrium access is limited to staff. The atrium will

house all the public services including the reception desks, security office, restaurant, public

prayer rooms & rest rooms. Sixth floor of office building includes HE the minister offices,

undersecretary offices and advisor.

I was responsible to produce concept design sketch drawings of all the buildings for client

approvals. As lead revit draftsman for the main building, I was responsible to produce drawings

for preliminary design, detail design, tender documentation and to do design co -ordination with

other disciplines. Also I was responsible to co-ordinate with fire sub-consultant. Project was

fully documented in revit (architecture and structural) and completed tender documentation.

Ministry of Health – The New Headquarter Building








The Wave Muscat, P05 Precinct, Multi Level Carparking, Muscat. Oman.

Lead Revit Draftsman

Basement + three and half storey building to provided shaded of 160 car parking bays for

marina visitor and general visitor parking. Basement has designated as marina parking for 45

bays with separate entrance and exit. Parking slab is designed to ramp slope and natural cross

ventilation with landscape at the peripheral of the building.

I was responsible to produce drawings for concept design, preliminary design, detail design

and to do design co-ordination with other disciplines. Also I am responsible to co-ordinate with

landscape consultant and fire consultant. Project was fully documented (architecture and

structure) in revit.

The Wave Muscat, P04 Precinct, Marine Apartments, Muscat. Oman.


Five-storey high end and modern marina front residential development comprising 120

apartments with mix of one, two and three bed apartments in 3 separate blocks and connected

with basement. Basement includes parking for 180 cars, water tank, pump room, telecom

room, etc. Ground floor includes landscape courtyard swimming pool, gym retail, parking and

other public amenities.

I was responsible to produce drawings for concept design, preliminary design, detail design

and to do design co-ordination with other disciplines. Also I am responsible to co-ordinate with

landscape consultant and fire consultant. Project was fully documented in Revit (architecture

and structure). Project is under construction.

Muttawar Residential Building, Muscat. Oman.

Senior CAD Draftsman

75 million US dollar, seven-storey residential development comprising 370 apartments, 15

retail units and 2 level basement car parking including swimming pool, gym all other amenities.

Project will be first residential building in Oman set to receive LEED certification. The building

has been awarded as the Innovative Energy Project for the year 2012 by Construction Week

Oman.

I was involved in producing drawings for preliminary design, detail design, construction

submission and to do design co-ordination with other disciplines. Project is under construction.

Muttawar Residential Development



Manah Military Training Camp, Manah. Sultanate of Oman.

Senior CAD Draftsman

To prepare a concept and detailed master plan for the proposed Manah camp, a new training

camp for the Royal Army of Oman (RAO). Manah camp will occupy a site of approximately 64

sq.km area for 3000 military training staff.

I was working on Package-10 which includes main gate, new recruit solider section, back gate,

medical centre, IT centre, family general canteen, camp garrison office building, nursery, and

kindergarten, watch towers.

I was responsible to produce drawings for concept design, preliminary design, detail design,

tender documentation and to do design co-ordination with other internal disciplines including

master plan. I was co-ordinating and monitoring project CAD drafting team. Project completed

tender documentation.

Manah Military Training Camp



Bank Muscat Headquarters Building, Muscat. Sultanate of Oman.

Senior CAD Draftsman / Architecture Site Supervisor

120 million US dollar, world-class corporate head quarter building for premier bank in Oman, Bank

Muscat. State of the art technology and materials have been used to produce 35,000 Sq.M building to

house 2000 staff. Four storey office building with a central courtyard, landscaped gardens, water

features, and themed break out areas. The building comprises of a large basement for vaults,

archiving, plant rooms and cafeteria for the staff. Project Completed in 2010. The project was award

Best Building in Oman by MEED awards.

As senior draftsman, I was responsible to produce concept design drawings for client approvals. I as

responsible to produce drawings for preliminary design, detail design, tender and construction

submission. Also I was responsible to do design co-ordination with other disciplines.

Also I was involved in architectural site supervision as Site Inspector for Bank Muscat Headquarters

Building. I am responsible for architectural site supervision, co-ordination between consultant, sub-

consultant, main contractor and sub contractor. I was checking shop and as built drawings. I was in-

charge of health and safety report of the site.

Project completed construction in 2010. The project was award Best Building in Oman by MEED

awards, 2010.

Bank Muscat – New Headquarter Building






Qalhat LNG Headquarters Building, Muscat. Sultanate of Oman.

Ground + four storey corporate head quarter office building for Qalhat Liquefied Natural Gas (QNLG)

company to produce 7500 Sq.M and to house 100 staff. Building ground includes central four storey

covered central courtyard and waiting lounge, reception, restaurant, gym, prayer room and other

public associated. Basement to accommodate 45 car parking bays.

I was responsible to produce drawings for preliminary design, detail design, tender and construction

submission. Project completed construction in 2010.

Qalhat LNG – New Headquarter Building



Barr Al Jissah, Phase-II Residential Development, Muscat. Sultanate of Oman.

Bar Al Jissah, Phase-II consist of high end Villas, Town houses and apartments. The villas provide

exclusive secure living in a private luxury environment. These individual detached villas offer

generous living spaces indoors and outdoors, including formal and informal areas, as well as

domestic quarters. The town houses are located on three levels with central community outdoor

recreational spaces and facilities to encourage interaction in a family setting. The one and two

bedroom the apartments have open plan internal living spaces featuring floor to ceiling glazing,

providing uninterrupted external views. Indoor living spaces are generous and modern in context. The

trend towards outdoor living in the cooler months is encouraged through the provision of large shaded

balcony spaces with full width openings enabling indoor and outdoor spaces to merge as one.

I was responsible to produce drawings for preliminary design, detail design and construction

submission. Project completed construction in 2009.

Barr Al Jissah, Phase-II Residential Development



New TV Studios, Oman

CAD Draftsman

20,000 Sq.M technical building with four television studios (largest 700 Sq.M),

control rooms, production areas, news and radio studios, office building, lounge,

reception areas and support facilities. The office building houses the

administration offices, including offices for HE the Minister for Information,

undersecretary and advisor. The auditorium houses translation room, conference

and television production facilities, musical and stage performances capable of

accommodating an audience of 700 people.

I was responsible to produce drawings for preliminary design, detail design, tender

and construction submission. Project completed construction in 2012.
