• Decide whether to proceed with the creation of the sewer district – Hold a referendum or board decision and pick a sewer option

• Board proceeds with the preparation of a Map, Plan and Report and SEQR

• Board holds public hearing and adopts proposed sewer district• Town submits application to the NYS Comptroller for approval• Secure financing (NYSEFC low interest funding or municipal bond)• Proceed with design and construction• Typically a three year process
