Government is facing a learning revolution

The case for simulation in Government training

• Time poor – makes traditional training difficult

• Financial constraints – makes budgeting difficult

• Procurement issues – makes process long winded

• Methods of learning have evolved – people want to be engaged

How does SimSkill solve these problems?

Memo: Welcome to Erskine.

Welcome to the team! It was nice to show you around last week.

One question: how do you want to handle your travel arrangements? I should let you know that Frank Hawkins from Finance keeps a close eye on expenses but is normally OK if you want to ring the travel company we use yourself (they are a preferred supplier). Frank has a policy in place regarding frequent flyer points (they stay in the company unfortunately). In addition, Frank appreciates managers sourcing the most cost effective travel deals where possible. This usually means planning ahead.

I’d be happy to help you arrange travel if you would like. Let me know,

Ricki

Memo: Congratulations on the GPS project!

Congratulations on heading the GPS project! I understand John has high hopes for this project and has told me to help wherever possible. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need to get messages to John. I know he is constantly overseas, but, I’ve been briefed that John does not want to be left out of important loops in this one project.
