Best Practices In Business Communication

Develop: Within your business you want to develop a plan of action when it comes to communication. Often times businesses have a scrip, sound bite, or mission statement that is read to customers or is familiarized by the employee to ensure professionalism.

Analyze: Using a form of analyzing when communicating within business and business sales can ensure that you do not say or do that which will destroy the closing of a good deal. Many companies use ‘Performance Managers’ to help develop the lines of communication with vital feed back.

Observe: Business often use ‘Quality Assurance’ (Q&A) teams or ‘Performance Management ‘teams to observe the clients as well as the customers to ensure the communication lines between the client and customer run smoothly. This is a excellent way to ensure the mission of the organization is meet.

Description: The overall description of the business should be meet by the employee and should be conveyed to the client and vendor within communication. What the customer/ client reads should reflect within communication and demeanor.

Formal Communication

Formal Communication is usually verbal, nonverbal,or in writing. It usually is a form of communicationthat holds a prestige to it when doing business.When using formal communication theorganization wants to be as professional as

possible. The different forms of formal communication maybe: media, written, and verbal which should displaythe integrity and business persona of theorganization.

business letter which is a way of communication you can see that it is addressed to ‘Sir or Madam” with all the proper details like the date, address, whom it is from and closes properly with Sincerely including the writers name.

Informal CommunicationIn business formal communication would beconsidered as.

Intra Office Communication Casual conversation with co-workers Conversation that may not pertain to the job Conversation that may be somewhat vain or

profound.

Informal communication is one kind of causalcommunication which does not need to follow anyrules and regulation (2013,Rasel).

Businesses today uses an array of media sources to communicate in order to complete assignments, and getting work done in a timely manner. Diverse forms of media may be needed depending on the job.
