Replace after crash or 5 years from the date of manufacture.
1. Locate the anchor point and prepare the seatfor the installation (unlock and/or open the bottomseat), hardware kit included.
2. Have the person/child step into the crotch straps(or use the method that you have been trained thatworks best). You may find it works best to put thearms through first or use your own policy.
3. Place the arms through the arm holes(just as in our normal vest configuration)
4. Close the vest snuggly around the person/childusing the back zipper closure. To keep the zipperlocked in place, clip the mini hook into the zipper.
5. Release the crotch strap from the Velcro locatedinside the zipper closure as this secures the crotchstraps in place.Note: the crotch strap must remain inside the zipperclosure.
6. Lay the crotch strap and tether on top of the seat
7. Position the person/child onto the seat
a. Lower the hip straps through the bight of the seat
b. Attach the tether strap to the anchor point
c. Pull both hip straps downward and hook thestraps into the D ring. Adjust as snug as possible.If the hip straps are too long, you can criss-crossthem to take up any excess length.
d. Adjust the tether strap so that it is taut withoutslack – keeping the shoulders snug against the back seat
e. Adjust the crotch strap so it is also snug
f. Buttocks must be tight against the bight,and shoulders must be snug to the seat back(child must be seated as straight and tight againstthe seat back as possible).
g. Adjust each shoulder harness so they aresnug without allowing the lower hip straps toleave the pelvic area. Push in the adjuster whilepulling on the shoulder strap to lengthen. Just pullthe loose end of the webbing to shorten. Thenreplace the Velcro strap.

EMERGENCY RELEASETo remove childs, 3 cuts of strapping are necessary. The firSt 2 cutS are the hip StrapS which are cut above the hip strap adjuster. The 3rd cut is the tether which is also cut above the Tilt Lock Ad-juster. The remaining tehter and crotch straps can be used to guide and/or lower the child to safety.
IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY RELEASETo remove child, 2 cuts of strapping are necessary. cut the front StrapS and the crotch Strap.
