MRVProcess&ImpactReport

• Credible sustainability impact report is crucial as part of the evaluation process.

Robust key performance indicators (KPI) that are customised per initiatives to analyse the success rate in project level as well as in the greater‐scale level.

Invite a credible independent‐evaluator to assess the full‐cycle process.

Further Update:

Work on the Foundation’s Communication Protocols According to the direction from the Minister of Environment and Forestry GoI and Directorate General

of Natural Resources Conservation and Ecosystem; there is a need to  revise the usage of specific terminologies in Belantara’s external communications material.

Positioning of the foundation: Grant‐making institution that facilitate the funding for initiatives of conservation, restoration, protection, and community development initiatives within the targeted grant distribution areas.

Avoid the usage of term “Belantara’s landscape” as it could mislead the public perception, it could be interpreted as Belantara owning or has the authority to manage the landscape (in which it is the authority of the government).

Avoid the usage of term “10‐critical landscapes”  as directed by the Minister of Environment and Forestry.

Avoid the usage of term that could be interpreted as Belantara is the implementer of a project, since in fact Belantara is the funder / facilitator for the projects/ initiative.

Terminology revision: Landscape/ Bentang Alam = Ekosistem / Area Hibah) – to be discussed

Comms of Belantara will Prepare specific message for target audiences according to the protocol and revise the communication material (prints/online/etc).

ThankYou
