From the Heart Flower Vine - Cream (A), cut:• (1) 2” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (16) 2” squares.• (2) 6 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (8) 6 ⅞” squares. Cut the squares across (1) diagonal to make (16) triangles.• (3) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (28) 3 ½” squares.

From the Flower Toss - Cream (B), cut:• (1) 2” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (16) 2” squares.• (2) 6 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (8) 6 ⅞” squares. Cut the squares across (1) diagonal to make (16) triangles.• (2) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (13) 3 ½” squares.

From the Bow Tie Foulard - Cream (L), cut:• (1) 5 ⅛” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (8) 5 ⅛” squares. Cut the squares across (1) diagonal to make (16) triangles.• (1) 2” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (20) 2” squares.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2” Fabric G square, (1) 2” Fabric B square, (1) 2” Fabric A square and (1) 2” Fabric H square together to make (1) Unit 1 block (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (16) Unit 1 blocks total.

2. Sew (1) Fabric F triangle, (1) Fabric K 3” triangle, (1) Fabric I 3” triangle and (1) Fabric C 3” triangle to the (4) sides of (1) Unit 1 block to make (1) Unit 2 block (Fig. 2). Repeat to make (16) Unit 2 blocks total.

3. Sew (1) Fabric C 3 ⅞” triangle, (2) Fabric J triangles and (1) Fabric D triangle to the (4) sides of (1) Unit 2 block to make (1) Unit 3 block (Fig. 3). Repeat to make (16) Unit 3 blocks total.

4. Sew (1) Fabric K 5 ⅛” triangle, (1) Fabric L triangle, (1) Fabric I triangle and (1) Fabric E triangle to the (4) sides of (1) Unit 3 block to make (1) Unit 4 block (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (16) Unit 4 blocks total.

5. Sew (2) Fabric G triangles, (1) Fabric B triangle and (1) Fabric A triangle to the (4) sides of (1) Unit 4 block to make (1) Block One (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (16) Block Ones total.

6. Place (1) 2” Fabric M square on the left side of (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric N strip, right sides together (Fig. 6). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 6). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 7). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance.

7. Place (1) 2” Fabric I square on the right side of the 2” x 3 ½” Fabric N strip, right sides together (Fig. 8). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 8). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance to make (1) Unit 5 strip (Fig. 9).

8. Repeat Steps 6-7 to make (20) Unit 5 strips total.

9. Sew (1) Unit 5 strip to each side of (1) 3 ½” Fabric B square. Sew (1) 2” Fabric L square to each end of (1) Unit 5 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric B square to make (1) Unit 6 block (Fig. 10). Repeat to make (5) Unit 6 blocks total.

10. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (5) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strips, (5) 3 ½” Fabric H squares and (5) 3 ½” Fabric G squares to make (5) Unit 7 strips (Fig. 11).

11. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (5) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strips, (5) 3 ½” Fabric P squares and (5) 3 ½” Fabric O squares to make (5) Unit 8 strips (Fig. 12).

12. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (5) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strips, (5) 3 ½” Fabric J squares and (5) 3 ½” Fabric I squares to make (5) Unit 9 strips (Fig. 13).

13. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (5) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strips, (5) 3 ½” Fabric Q squares and (5) 3 ½” Fabric K squares to make (5) Unit 10 strips (Fig. 14).

14. Sew (1) Unit 7 to the left side of (1) Unit 6. Sew (1) Unit 8 to the right side of the Unit 6 to make (1) Unit 6 strip. Sew (1) 3 ½” Fabric A square to each end of (1) Unit 9 strip. Sew this strip to the top of the Unit 6 strip. Sew (1) 3 ½” Fabric A square to each end of (1) Unit 10 strip. Sew the new strip to the bottom of the Unit 6 strip to make (1) Block Two (Fig. 15). Repeat to make (5) Block Twos total.

15. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (16) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric H strips and (32) 2” Fabric C squares to make (16) Unit 11 strips (Fig. 16).

16. Sew (1) Unit 11 strip to each side of (1) 3 ½” Fabric G square. Sew (1) 2” Fabric H square to each end of (1) Unit 11 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric G square to make (1) Unit 12 block (Fig. 17). Repeat to make (4) Unit 12 blocks total.

17. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (8) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric I strips, (8) 3 ½” Fabric R squares and (8) 3 ½” Fabric F squares to make (8) Unit 13 strips (Fig. 18).

18. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (8) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric I strips, (8) 3 ½” Fabric B squares and (8) 3 ½” Fabric A squares to make (8) Unit 14 strips (Fig. 19).

19. Sew (1) Unit 13 strip to each side of (1) Unit 12 block. Sew (1) 3 ½” Fabric M square to each end of (1) Unit 14 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Unit 12 block to make (1) Block Three (Fig. 20). Repeat to make (4) Block Threes total.

20. Repeat Steps 6-7 using (96) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric E strips and (192) 2” Fabric I squares to make (96) Unit 15 strips (Fig. 21).

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)24. Sew (2) Block Ones, (1) Block Two and (2) Block Ones together, in that order, to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Five.

25. Sew (3) Block Ones and (2) Block Threes together, alternating them, to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Four.

26. Sew (3) Block Twos and (2) Block Ones together, alternating them, to make Row Three.

27. Sew the (5) rows together, in numerical order, to make the Center Block.

28. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 60 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 66 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

29. Sew (6) Block Fives and (5) Block Fours together, alternating them. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew (1) strip to each side of the Center Block.

30. Sew (7) Block Fours and (6) Block Fives together, alternating them. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

31. Layer and quilt as desired.

32. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric S strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

33. Bind as desired.

21. Sew (1) Unit 15 strip to each side of (1) 3 ½” Fabric I square. Sew (1) 2” Fabric E square to each end of (1) Unit 15 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. 23. Sew (1) Unit 16 strip to each side of (1) 3 ½” Fabric F square. Sew (1) 2” Fabric H square to each end of (1) Unit 16 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric F square to make (1) Block Five (Fig. 24). Repeat to make (24) Block Fives total.
