PUBLICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENTS

Brochures, Booklets, and Catalogs. The company identity mark and/orthe logotype may be used on the front at the top or bottom (right, left, orcentered). Company identity mark placed on the inside back or frontcover of brochures, booklets, and catalogs will be placed at the bottomleft of the page with the copy right information to its left. Examples oflocations for elements are shown below. The company identity markand/or logotype will not be used as a dominant design element inbrochures, booklets, and catalogs.

Self-Mailers. The company identity mark and/or logotype may beincorporated into the mailing panels of publications intended to beself-mailers. Recommend placement of the graphic elements is shownat right. (Seek advice regarding U.S. Postal Service requirements formailing panels.)

Posters and Banners. When the company identity mark and/or logotypeis used on a poster or a flyer, it will be placed at the bottom left of thepage.

Use. Identity marks for specific products will be used in conjunction withthe bentley logo (outlined on page 3). The use of these marks will bedetermined by the marketing director or marketing manager.

The product logos shown at right are the only ones approved bymarketing. All product logos must be approved the Chief MarketingOfficer and designed by Creative Services.

In the case of products that do not have an approved logo, productnames will be represented using Universe 67 Condensed as outlined inthe Bentley typography standards on page 4 of this document.

PROJECTWISE V8 XM EDITION IDENTITY MARK

The ProjectWise V8 XM Edition product identity mark consists oflogotype in Universe 67 Bold Condensed that reads “ProjectWise V8” insmall caps and an ®, a logotype in Universe 57 Condensed, that reads“xm edition” and an underline that drops down from the top line of textto include the end of the second line of text.

Use. The mark will be used on all Bentley materials where the product isreferenced to identify them as produced by and for Bentley. The markmust be used on company-specific publications as appropriate (seecompany marketing identities).

When the mark is used, its shape will not be altered in any way. The markwill not appear with any other mark, symbol, logo, or logotype, other thanthe logotype designed for it and presented here.

STANDARD STATIONERY ITEMS

Use. Stationery serves an important communication link between thecompany and its audience. Bentley’s “be” Conference and “be” CareersNetwork will use the standard stationery items for their correspondence.

Format. “be” Conference and “be” Careers Network standard stationeryitems include letterhead sheets. These items have been designed todisplay the conferences identity mark and the logotype. The formatsshown are the only stationary choices available.

Personal names may appear on company business cards but will not beprinted on either the letterhead sheets or the envelopes. The businesscards are the property of the individual employee of Bentley, butstandard stationary items are considered the property of company andwill not include an individual’s name.

Paper Stocks. For standard stationery items, the following paper stockswill be used:

CORPORATE POWERPOINT/TEMPLATE+BENTLEY OVERVIEW

A new look has been developed for the Bentley corporate powerpointpresentation. There is a template with which you can create your slidesand a Bentley Overview presentation which you can use in its entirety orpull slides from to accent your own presentation.

The template is saved as a Design Template (.pot file). This designtemplate should make updating existing presentations to this new lookeasier. Using a Design Template supplies a consistent background,color scheme, and text and object formatting.

MERGING PRESENTATIONS INTO NEW TEMPLATETo use the Design Template, save the .pot file into theMicrosoft/Templates folder on your hard drive. When you are inPowerPoint (2003) open an existing presentation, click on the Designtab in the Formatting toolbar. This will replace the existing mastersettings with those from the new template.
