1. “I have quite a busy job, and I had been struggling to sleep for a few weeks. A friend asked me to start playing 5 aside football with him twice a week, so I did. I loved it and it helped me switch off and forget about work. Sleep is great now”

2. “I improved my time by 10 minutes this year, I’m delighted that all the training and preparation paid off!”

3. “Running the London Marathon is an experience to say the least! There are not many races that you can run alongside Mr Blobby, Sausages and Rhinos! I ran it with my best friend, we laughed so much on the way round”

4. “Even going up the stair was becoming hard work, I’d get to the top and I would be out of breath. So I started going on a 30 min walk each after work. It was tough at first but then got easier and easier, I even noticed my skin get healthier”

5. “The thing I love about going to the gym or playing a bit of netball with my friends is the ‘buzz’ I feel during and after. Its like I can feel the improvement and feel so much more alive, its great!”

6. “I had been feeling a little conscious of my figure for a while now, so I started going to the gym, running on the treadmill and doing more weights. Now I feel really good, I’ve lost weight and look more toned now than ever”

7. “I was never one of the best on the team. But then I started doing more CV in my own time, i.e. going for runs, doing some long sprints and stuff. Then since the start of the season, my game has really improved; i can run rings round most of my team mates, I’m faster on pitch and i feel strong right to the end of the 90 minutes instead of dying in the last 20 min. I've had player of the match now twice in 3 games.”
