“I was almost eight years old, and had to make that big decision of what I wanted to do for my birthday. One

Saturday evening at my grandparents’ house, my Nan told me how at work she could hear the noise of the karts

coming from the track just down the road. And in that moment, I decided. I turned to Dad and said like all seven

year olds asking their parents for something, “Can I have a go karting party? … Pleease.”

Two weeks later on my birthday, I had won my first race. The victory drug had taken over me, a feeling like no

other, I was addicted and craving for more. And now ten years later, after karting success and multiple podiums

in the Mini Challenge, I still get the same sensation.

We all had childhood dreams. Mine was to be a racing driver, and to win championships. Help me get my first in

the 2013 Mini Challenge.”

BenSamualRacing (BSR) was established in 2010 and is the brand created by Ben Gridley, to make him recognisable within the motorsport fraternity. The Mini Challenge is truly one of the most enduring one make championships in the UK, and is increasingly seen as a training ground for the touring car drivers of the future. The Challenge is part of Jonathon Palmer’s MSVR organisation, supplying a top class race calendar of twenty races at seven race weekends at the top UK circuits including Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Donington Park, as well as Zandvoort in the Netherlands in 2013.

Extended Sponsorship

There is the opportunity to extend your sponsorship of Ben beyond an individual round, whether that is for a number of

rounds or for the entire season. This means that you could reach up to five times more potential customers, and build

familiarity with them through Ben. You will receive the same benefits for every extra round you support, including having

your company logo in the same position on the car.

Why Supporting Ben is Better

- Hospitality at a top premiership football game will cost you up to £800 per person which only lasts 90 minutes. With Ben you can have up to four

days of hospitality throughout the year. Four 90 minute football matches will cost you £3,200 per person, which makes sponsoring Ben much

more cost effective.

- The Mini Challenge is shown on Motors TV and is seen in 350+ million homes, reaching a high volume of potential customers, likely to increase

sales and custom. The cost to have an advert produced and aired six times on ITV2 for one day will cost approximately £15,000 depending on

production costs. - Being seen on Ben’s crash helmet in television interviews. To advertise at a local football stadium around the border of the pitch can cost from

£10,000 per season.

- Indirectly supporting a charity (Motor Neurone Disease Association) throughout the year, including when Ben takes part in the cycling event
