Objectives

Flower- the reproductive structure found in flowering plants.

Stamen: male reproductive structure of flowers; includes the anther and filament.

Anther: sac-like structure of the stamen that produces pollen.

Filament: thin stalk of the stamen that holds the anther

Pistil: female reproductive structure of the flower; includes the stigma, style, & ovary.

Stigma: tip of the pistil where pollen grains collect.

Style: long, tube-like part of the pistil

Ovary: rounded base of the pistil that contains one or more ovules (eggs)
