SLPS runs 3 tier system with goal to balance buses between the 3 tiers◦ Most cost efficient approach◦ Would cost the district an extra $8 -10 million to move to 2

tier system or to shift the times for only one tier without changing all the times

SLPS has magnet schools which require transportation across the city resulting in increased transportation time and the need for more time between tiers
