Being a teacher…

…is being the one picked on at times.

…is shouldering the blame.

…is listening to people say we only work 9 months a year.

…is knowing people doubt our abilities.

…is getting excited over the little things.

but showing self-control!

…is wanting to duct tape a child to a wall…

…is understanding that things do not always go as planned.

…is sometimes feeling defeated.

…is when being sick is a hassle.

…is often feeling under appreciated.

…is laughing out loud because only TEACHERS think this is funny!

More than anything, being a teacher is knowing that a lifeis impacted, a child learns, and TEACHERS play a huge role in shaping our society…
