Before Duquesne: Sources of the Renewal (Charismatic) New Covenant Magazine

This little gem of an article gives a brief "pre-history" of the Charismatic Renewal before its formal birthday of 1967 at Duquesne University. The article was obtained from the New Covenant archives, housed by Our Sunday Visitor Press and I am grateful for their assistance in obtaining and sharing it. The article follows some of the early leaders in Charismatic Renewal, but as it was a "Word of God" production (New Covenant) focuses on the activities of Steven B Clark and Ralph Martin. It is written by the editor of New Covenant Jim Manney, who also co-authored Fr Michael Scanlan's Memoirs in "Let the Fire Fall" both editions: the original 1986 edition as well as the "redacted" 1997 edition.
